It's really not that surprising. A lot of people found out about Chris by large websites like TV-Tropes, ED or 4chan. I would be wondering if there's any asians that follow Chris, but Europe isn't that far off in terms of cultural spheres.

As a matter of fact, I'm a europoor myself.

My housemates and I have have taken to using mine as something of a dunce-cap. When one of our friends does something stupid enough to leave us at a loss for words, we make them wear it. Autistic? Probably. Entertaining? Certainly.

I cosplayed as Chris at ECCC this year because of my autism, with an authentic medallion of course. It's now hidden away in a drawer.

Mine are tucked away in a drawer with some old CDs.

I don't regret my purchase, but I also could not explain it to anyone who came over.

I will always treasure them. Privately.

I never got to order a medallion. Boyfriend nearly actually got a couple once but when he went to order them Chris' commission list was full or they were sold out.

They're easy enough to make on your own and look the same as long as you don't put too much effort into them.

Yeah, the thought of him doing this strange thing called work is appealing. I'm considering grabbing one the next time around as well.
