Your Received Medallions

I would caution people that if you have Chris make medallions of characters he doesn't know, don't complain if it ends up looking like total shit. You've seen the quality he produces with characters that he's known for a long time and are important to him.
I'm not expecting perfection, just CWC quality. It'd be interesting to see Chris's medallion interpretation of one of my favorite fandom things.

I made sure to send him a decent reference picture for each example, and hopefully anyone COPYING MY UNIQUE IDEA will do the same.

When you ask rhetorical questions like that, it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.
Fair enough. I await the inevitable torrent.

Back on topic, has anyone found any evidence that the medallions are being made in an unclean environment? Like, stray hairs/other things stuck to the paint? Curious because of how he's just chucking the things in boxes of cotton pudding before they're dry.

I asked Chris about non-Sonichu medallions and got a yes! I have like a thousand ideas but I can't decide, I'm gonna give him a couple of ideas and let it be a surprise.

My sweet-ass medallion will most likely be Yu-Gi-Oh-related though. All of those fucking card game nerds are gonna be so jealous.

I'd re-censor that photo, I can clearly read your username under the black smudges.

Ahh, thanks, I didn't notice. It's not that important to me though, my eBay username isn't linked to any of my other internet shit, it's just a dumb Pokemon name like this one. (But I fixed the screenshot anyway if @Hellblazer wants to edit his post.)

oh my god
you have no idea how tempted i am to get the friend i bought chris' autograph for a Shadow the Hedgehog medallion for christmas since shadow's her favorite character
i'm a college student though, i may need that money

help. what do?
Would you rather spend $30 on a Sonichu medallion or $30 on 1/4th of a shitty, overpriced textbook? The choice is yours.

Registered for the forums just to post in the thread. I received medallion 35/100 this morning. It was packaged the same at the others in the thread. The writing on the back and the eyebrows are faded, I think this is because he wrote on them before either the paint finished drying completely or the model magic had set. I intend to do a full CWC costume for Halloween and to take to conventions. I have one of the same types of rugby polo shirts he wore, I just need to obtain some fake pedo glasses to wear.
Overall, I am pretty satisfied with the medallion. Yes the paint job is shitty and it is shoddily made, but that makes it kind of charming. It certainly reflects the artistic skill of its creator.

The variation on them adds a lighthearted whimsical touch, like how TV dinners sometimes spurt cranberry over in the peas. No matter how far your three cubic inches of mac 'n cheese has wandered, that little penguin's still gonna be smiling at you on the box.

My buying experience from Chris was a pleasant one. I would actually say that when he puts his mind to it, he can operate just as professionally as most other ebay sellers.

There is some extraneous silliness with how he does things in general, like a seam of plastic remnants on the sides of Chinese bubble-machine prizes. At the cost of a multiplied effort on his behalf, a cognitive kaio-ken if you will, he can plan action and produce results as a sort of organic Rube Goldberg machine.

I don't think it's necessary to warn us that things made by CWC might not be high quality.

Soooo....@Trickie bought me a Rosechu medallion and I just received it today. I actually kinda like it. It's very light though so I don't want to wear it or I'd break it. It's unglazed so I might use some glaze on it because I plan to use it as a rearview mirror decoration.

I took 9 pictures of the medallion and the contents that it came with:
