This video makes me feel really old. I was listening to the 2016 commentary community at its peak while doing animation commissions all day, every day, that year. These guys talking about being in middle and high school during that time out here. Glad they talked about lesser known older commentary channels like TheRandomShark, yet no mention of my favorite jeet Abster? Disrespectful.

I remember listening and enjoying his videos. I binged his and DeoderAnthonys videos on the same day so I often both get then mixed up, avatars don't help either.

Was he officially selected? I thought a section of his audition video was just used in that one DramaAlert to see if the audience liked it. If Willy does get the spot, I'd say it's a good choice. His recent stuff has been pretty well-structured and informative, and on Twitter he starts as much shit as Keemstar.
To be fair I'm glad a lot of the good commentary channels left because we can remember them fondly cause over time they take a turn for the worst. Cause frankly I imagine doing content like this definetly affects your mental state so getting out sooner than later is a good choice. I feel like if Zaptie kept going, despite the change in his content, he would've suffered the same fate. Glad he's back now with a refreshed mind.
Yeah, and I know you stated that you didn't care for MK, but he seems to be doing better since he focused on mostly reviews - and he seems to be doing better numbers than his previous content, and enjoys it more than doing commentaries. I bring him up since he also said he was done with drama based content, and he seems to be doing better too (if I recall we also disagreed on his content too)
i don't know what kind of audience drama alert appeals to tbh, but anyone that can withstand willy's tard voice in a consistent format like drama alert is sure to be on the spectrum. knowing how much of an annoying sperg keemstar is, i'd say willy is probably a perfect fit.
For some reason, I thought Kai was a weaboo because he has Westernized influence anime art as his avatar on Twitter. It’s the usage of “y’all” that makes me want to negate everything else that he is saying, but that’s just me.
Now that's a name I haven't heard in ages... I have fond memories of the 2016 era of commentary. I miss TheRandomShark too. Hope those fellas are doing alright these days.
