For those who are unaware, Pegasus is the name of a shitty topic commentator who sounds like a 12 year old for some reason and he has over 700 thousand subscribers. TagSwag is a smaller unremarkable topic commentator with over 300 thousand subscribers. TagSwag was recently exposed for basically stealing Pegasus’s thumbnails and titles with very little difference and sometimes getting even more views. Plenty of commentators, including Pegasus himself made a video on it (https://youtu.be/_Hw3VGIxXSY) and TagSwag responded (https://youtu.be/npp2-DtatiA https://archive.md/ksjZh). I can’t bother to suffer through their videos to see if the actual content is different and apparently, neither could anybody making shitty videos about it, but still, just from the thumbnails and titles I can tell that what TagSwag is doing is quite shady, but not the end of the world like people are making it out to be. Especially since Pegasus is a much bigger channel anyway. This is going to be forgotten about in like a week.

This was so much fun to watch live, Technicals responded to one of Nick's outbursts with "You're rétarded, keep playing the video," and at one point literally just told Nick to kill himself. i thought technical's video on zero was only good at the disproving the lies part, but it got significantly r eetarded from the suicide baiting onward. the part that especially didn't sit well with me was the 'he only did this ONCE, so he's not a pedo' angle. like what the fuck kind of argument is that supposed to be lol why did that even need to be said? a lot of pedos also say shit like 'i'm not pro contact tho!' doesn't make them less deserving of castration imo.
technicals is just being super biased and he really wasted his efforts on this situation. i'm only annoyed because he highlighted a LOT of bullshit in the smash community that needed to be shown, but now people are going to forever remember him as the guy who sympathized with a creepy ass sped like zero and disregard anything else he has to say. not saying it's right, but that's just how the internet works. as for the debate, LMAO. nick, is fucking terrible at having actual big boy thoughts and botched any point of criticism he could have offered. he hung onto semantics and the stupidest shit and just dug his heels in the dirt and did what he always did. I never really got the appeal of Optimus. I tried watching like 3 or 4 videos from him and he never gets to the fucking point of his vids. He just talks on and on and on.

Unironically, people like Optimus and Memology are how people get their news. It's easy to watch, it's in a familiar format, in Optimus's case he's usually a down-to-earth guy (last I checked, which admittedly has been a while, so he could be fucking insane now) and in Memology's case his videos might as well be YouTube Shorts they're so easy to watch (and it doesn't hurt that he includes short meme clips to make the audience chuckle or nose-exhale a little bit).
