It’s like I’ve said in Eugenia’s thread:
I may not agree with some of Willie’s takes, but I can still appreciate him for going after the tea channels that clearly try to milk drama/rumors while playing innocent or acting like moral authorities. It’s easy to dismiss his videos as just him whiteknighting for girls like Eugenia and Gabbie Hanna, though I see it as the guy trying his best to play devil’s advocate.

I've found that the modern-day CC is just Devil's Advocate: The Show. Like during the Onision shitshow, they focused on Chris Hansen. After H3H3 dropped Content Nuke, they all focused on H3H3. During the David Dobrick/James Charles time period, they focused on Def Noodles, Kat Tenbarge, and Taylor Lorenz. And now with Gabbie Hanna/CreepShow Art/Eugenia Cooney, they focus on the Tea Channels.

I'm not passing judgement on this tendency of theirs, but I'd say it's definitely part of how they operate. Though I will say, it definitely makes dramas I initially don't care about a lot more interesting to me.

I believe DeOrio's position is that LTG, a vexatious litigant who abuses copyright law to dox people critical of him, and someone who uses his platform on YouTube to spread said dox, is someone actually deserving of deplatforming.

The reasoning against Ethan Klein wasn't that he was pro-deplatforming at all (after all, most everyone would agree with deplatforming pedos and zoos), it was that he, someone who had been pro-free speech and pro-edgy content for forever, was going against the principles he had preached for years to try and deplatform Keemstar, someone he just didn't personally like.

DeOrio believes that the acceptance people have for deplatforming predatory sexpests extends to people who use their platforms to maliciously target and dox others (think Britbong or Zoom), as it crosses the line in a similar enough way for most people to consider it abusive.

In my opinion, I have no problem with this take, since it stops doxes from being flung on YouTube or Twitter, and let's us have an almost-monopoly on the e-celeb dox industry

Augie unlists all of his VODs to not clog up his subscribers' sub-box with past streams, but he keeps them still available through his playlist of his stream VODs on the frontpage of his channel. Though if he was privating these streams I'd be more inclined to agree.
