Cecil goes for a "more information, better video" approach, and if any topic warranted a long watch time for her formula, it would be this.

You'd be entirely right. Perhaps it takes a certain level of autism to enjoy hearing about the art community's self-destruction.

The art community's downfall boils down to autism and extreme "SJW-ism" while retards argue over who is _phobic and _ist and bitch about drawings.

I understand she wants to be impartial when just retelling events (although that makes the video dry oatmeal levels of bland) but in this latest video, she stresses that she's not trying to make jabs at the community, then proceeds to make jabs,

If it was meant to be a joke, it fell flat on its ass.

As someone mentioned before Toad McKinley is far better and you at least know where he stands. Now if he would only upload again...

I liked Cecil's videos on Onision as background noise, but it's really annoying how she pussyfoots around shit like trannies/pronouns and ~problematic~ shit with how much interest she shows for Metokur, popping into Dear Leader's streams, and using the forum for content. It's nice she gives credit but the viewers she's trying to appease would find her guilty by association just by interacting with toxic icky Kiwifarms users and Metokur.
Also that art community video was boring. I never heard of these people and about twenty minutes in it just seemed like you could sum it up in a few minutes: "Pronoun people virtue signaling and being self-righteous fags are actually total hypocrites: shocking."
That said I'm amazed that Kai turned out to have a girlfriend considering his simpering voice and catty gay tone, and that The Hot Box didn't shoot up his school or troon out at any point lol

I couldn't sit through it all. It's way too long for a single sitting. It would have been so better being released as a retrospective series and broken into parts than a 4 and a half hour video.

I like laughing at art spergs as much as anyone else but the video is way too long to be digestible in one's sitting.

Cecil could have easily taken more jabs than she did, would have greatly improved the video imo. I liked the part where she played the clip of Metokur making fun of someone's speech impediment when she was introducing Luke, and I also wish she hadn't glossed over the Luke segment as much as she did, since that saga was the least boring out of everything pre-Creepshow Lolcow leaks (mostly due to Just Stop being pretty damn talented at dismantling drama-whores like Luke, despite how little of that content he makes). I also think she could have shown at least two or three examples of the unhinged stuff Creepshow showed in her response video, there were some legitimately hilarious self-owns in there I was looking forward to that weren't included, sad! Overall I'd give it a 7/10, it satisfied my autism itch but could have done better.

I honestly tried listening to it and my god, I got to about 25 mins but girl come on 4 and a half fucking hours. You have to be pretty conceited to think someone is going to listen to you for nearly 5 hours. I tried all I can but funnily enough on the recommended, there was Jeeny Nicholason's Vampire Diaries review so I listened to that and actually laughed.

I feel Cecil is very clued in on what is being said as her top post is this:

If it's not then don't put her avatar in the thumbnail as that's just deceptive advertisement, especially for 4 hours 35 minutes. I do feel though that this will be that one video that will make people nope out. It's a commentator's hubris to think someone will listen to them ramble on and on regardless of the quality or content. Cecil is that one for me who is undeserving of her platform purely because she tries to emulate people like Toad or iDubbz when she misses the point why people enjoyed their content because it was interesting but also entertaining. The topics too especially that Toad picked were interesting and incredibly well researched, his Chantal one especially because as a Foodie Beauty follower there was stuff I did not know and I had been following her since she nearly started. Cecil though picks "hot topics" but plays them incredibly safe to a bland decorum. It's a shame as she started with a lot of promise.

It was always inevitable that the art commentators would implode on themselves. It happens especially when you hook yourself onto an ideology. You become vulnerable to a pendulum swing which I believe is happening at the moment.

I think he's saying that the "conspiracy" is Meowbahh using the PNGtuber concept to troll unsuspecting TikTok zoomers. Definitely a reach (to the point of being incorrect) to say that one person trolling a group of retards is a conspiracy, but honestly I don't mind Tom covering shit that almost no one cares about - to be honest, I agree with this comment on the video:

I will never in a hundred years willingly engage with the Vtuber or PNGtuber communities, but drama is still drama, so if Tom is willing to engage with these crowds to condense all the cringe into a comparatively watchable, informative video on a conflict I wouldn't have otherwise heard about, I'll watch.
