Haven't watched the video yet, but like I said before, there are some key differences between Sly Boy and MamaMax:

1. "Katie Cruz" isn't a fictional character. He's an out and proud pedophile and there's loads of evidence to the fact.
2. Sly Boy is actually doing something tangible to save children from him. He put his money where his mouth is and went to his hometown to publicly inform people.
3. Sly Boy isn't trying to take the law into his own hands or claiming to do so. He isn't a vigilante trying to get justice. He's naming and shaming a pedophile. He's not trying to get him locked up or baiting him.
4. Sly Boy doesn't have a blatant savior complex.

Social media platforms really ought to implement some sort of tagging feature that shows when someone's on the sex offender registry. Something akin to community notes that just says "this person is a registered sex offender" with a link to said registry entry.

If I remember this right from Tom’s video, a bunch of vshojo tubers got doxed/swatted and Nux did a video trying to figure out who did it, which I believe was initially endorsed by vshojo. But all the girls got mad that he was drawing attention to the situation, they lied about something with that but I can’t remember what, and the agency buckled under pressure and changed their statement to go against Nux. All the girls gave him a halfhearted apology/this conflict is over statement and it went away until vshojo got in hot water for something else.

And who cares, it’s Nux, but tbf this was before he was known as the loli guy.

Maybe Tom could have done better research, I think he saw someone being unfairly maligned and jumped in to defend him only for it to end up a bit more complicated (we know that’s a weakspot of his)

I don't know anything about this gay bullshit but from personal experience this is exactly how Japanese use the phrase "working with us" (osewaninarimashita / otsukaresamadeshita). It doesn't generally mean you 'worked with' anybody in the way you're thinking, it's just used as boiler plate saying that just means "thank you".

The "thank you" can be for anything from an actual business relationship or as something as simple as handing a conbini (convenience store) worker something you're wanting them to swipe. It was even printed on my Japanese electric / phone bill.

And I’m not a lawyer, but Kacey said as part of the statement that she will be testifying on this to help with the other cases. So his point about “you can’t trust any of this” falls a little flat to me. Again, if any of it was untrue then she could just say no. She doesn’t even have to say no to the whole settlement, they can renegotiate around any disputed language.

“But she would have been financially ruined!” Then she shouldn’t have done something obviously suable. If she did nothing wrong the lawsuit would have been dismissed like everyone said it would be.

None of this is forced. She had a lawyer. She had agency. She’s just facing the consequences of her own actions and got off okay with just an apology. She clearly had leftover funds from the gofundme (meaning she could have kept going) because it was explicitly stated that they would be going to Ethan. So she didn’t even really lose anything financially.

She had to give a fake ass embarrassing apology to get away scott free, wow, how evil. It was funny. Pretending that this is psychotic is so gay.
