I haven't made the switch to other frontends because of familiarity with the YT layout (despite Google constantly fucking it up), but this is a solid contender of causing me enough annoyance that I might finally make the switch. Is there some specific way to transfer playlists to Invidious/FreeTube, because it seems to fail every time I try to do it.

IIRC that was around on mobile for a while, and I guess it's meant to do sound normalization, so when, I don't know, you watch Anomaly the fat Swedish fuck opening CS cases, the volume is fine, and then he opens a knife and suddenly he blows your eardrums out screaming "OH MY GOD KNIIIV", this is meant to lower the volume of that earblowing segment to fit the volume right before it. So you should try it on videos with sudden volume level changes like that, I'm not in the A/B group with it so I'm just spitballing.

1/3 of my comments get shadowbanned, sometimes even with comments that are only mildly aggressive with no bad words.

Sometimes I wonder if they are using some sort of AI to quickly scan and delete comments at this point because a lot of them are going down even with "code speak" if you get what I mean. Commenting on Youtube is just becoming unbearable.

But then again, I cant discard the possibility the day will come that Youtube will remove comments entirely because fuck what their consumer base wants.

I have never come out of the comment section better off than when I first went in. What are you doing in there that is not self harm? At this stage I have the comments removed on my mobile and collapsed by default on PC.

When I give a shit about the topic, I will refresh the video after a minute to see if Kiketube didn't like my words. If deleted I rephrase and say the same shit, but in a way that gets through the Kosher Detectors. So many other people probably think they're getting a say on an issue, but Kiketube has already deleted their words less than 30 seconds after they post. Be vigilant.

I've seen a ridiculous influx of "reaction" channels and they all seem to be following the same format: Soyjak yelling face thumbnail, actual video are a bunch of dopey black dudes mumbling or laughing at nothing, no discussion, 20K views max. I watched one the other say, I swear the guys in it weren't saying words. Just barking or some shit. Even Jinx wasn't as bad as these new guys.

Like reaction channels have always been bad but I think it's escalated recently. Everyone wants a slice of the pie even if they have no actual talent to carry a YouTube channel.

lol did Youtube fumble back to the 2010s again? Sounds like the whole Jinx/CJisCool shit that IHE and GradeAUnderA had to put up with.

Is YT disabling playback of more vids in "embedded" (youtube.com/embed/[video code])? Sure seems that way.
