It takes me about 10 tries to download anything in yt-dlp anymore, it keeps giving me "Error 404: Forbidden(Retrying Fragment)" message. Am I the only one?

Just tested it on my end, it works fine. Maybe update it?It takes me about 10 tries to download anything in yt-dlp anymore, it keeps giving me "Error 404: Forbidden(Retrying Fragment)" message. Am I the only one?
Typo, it was 403 errorJust tested it on my end, it works fine. Maybe update it?
EDIT: 404 errors mean the thing doesn't exist, so unless the video got taken down, that shouldn't be happening.
I had constant errors using PreserveTube a few hours ago. One day we're going to wake up to the 'tubecaust.
It's hard to piss off a bot. It's not like any real people work at Youtube.I don't give a shit about any of my YouTube accounts, I try to avoid YouTube as best I can. If I'm ever required to verify myself, I'm going to upload files of Goatse, and captions about how pajeets are fucking worthless.
Whatever I feel would piss them off the most, shock images, etc.
We are getting closer to this every day...My hoarded mp3 files on my PC will come into handy more again soon, it looks like. Most of them are not the best quality, since they're gotten via the YouTubetomp3 days. I just mostly use YouTube for music nowadays, with the odd long podcasts and long videos from time to time. And many that I listen to is saved locally in my drives, I just can't be arsed to dig them up in their folders, and again YouTube has better quality.
Oh, and fuck Spotify and music streaming services, those are the epitome of "you vill own nothing" when it comes to listening to music that seems harder to curate and you have to pay for them.
The fake buffering is some real bullshit but same.Don't care how much fake buffering you add Judenrat, I'm not turning off my adblocker/privacy extensions.
https://github.com/yuliskov/SmartTube (firestick, android tv)I'm pretty sure all of these have been mentioned in the thread, but worth a mention again. I've used, recently tested, and recommend all of these:

Well, I never had issues with Firefox (just the regular one, no nightlies or anything like that) and uBlock Origin. It's not guaranteed that Youtube won't try to force ads on you, but why not try this combination out?I've kept on using chrome cuz the librawolf browser looks kinda gay and retarded but i tried out the free trial for Adguard for the past 2 weeks and honestly its been working great. I'm really wondering if i should spend the 35 bucks to get a yearly license which would be the first time in my life that I'd be spending money to hide ads haha
Any input on this? would any of you peeps suggest a free alternative or should i pull the trigger? I'm kind of technologically retarded so anything's appreciated
Really? I have the same set up and everything worked fine for me about an hour and a half ago. Did you accidentally zap the video element? Or you might need to restart your phone?Noticed that trying to use youtube on firefox mobile is completely useless now. It seems like they've found away to stop ublock from working. Now every video is virtually impossible to watch and it forces a black screen.
They're getting really desperate to make sure you watch 10 ads just to listen to some music.
Now that you mention it i realize i haven't been getting recommended these gay music mix lists in quite a while, i used to get spammed to death with them. Was so bad at one point that every third video in my recommends was one of these mixes (and even shit like "Mix - Albanian Music", what the fuck?). Did i finally defeat the algo by clicking "Not interested" on what feels like a million of them?I rely on raw Youtube solely at work, to listen to music. I noticed that for the videos Youtube identifies as music, when you open one it will always create a random playlist of things it feels you'll want to listen to next. So I find myself right clicking, pasting the link and erasing the playlist that was imposed on me.
Stop recommending me shit and mind your fucking business, kikes.
