YouTube Sponsors - Own Façade Chinese Steel Knives and a square foot of Scottish Plot of Land for $420

I'm 22 and have started balding in a visible manner if you look carefully at the right angle. I have accepted it as something men will experience eventually and figured that instead of shelling out money on some anti balding meds, I might as well just enjoy while I still have plenty of hair. And spend the money on hookers or OnlyFans.

OK, maybe not on that, but you get my point. Why give money to big pharma for a condition that barely affects your quality of life 99% of the time? Oh nevermind, if you keep your hair, you won't need to apply sunscreen on your head to avoid sunburns on it!
I know people who are really disturbed by it. I don't really get it tbh.

I guess it mostly applies to people that are not used to having short haircuts. I personally could not care less.
Bald lmao

This will probably be the most retarded thing I'll ever post which is saying something but whatever, here goes.

I fell for Manscaped. Their products are absolute crap. I've always been very hairy which has made me self conscious and so it seemed like the right product for me. They advertise it like it's specifically made to shave body hair but there's literally nothing different about it when compared to any other electric trimmer. In fact the biggest difference is that any other trimmer won't have the battery just randomly die/stop charging like Manscape trimmers do. Just like the people in the OP were complaining about that's what happened to me. The first time my Manscape trimmer died I was like well I'm not giving them money again so I just went on Amazon and bought a Phillips Norelco Multigroomer trimmer and I've had it for four years and it still works great and it was only like $15-20. The Manscape trimmers are about 3x as much as that iirc which is an absolute joke.

Also, for the love of God, do not attempt to shave your balls with Manscaped products, or any product really. Electric trimmers and ballsacks just do no get along no matter how much Manscaped advertises that their products are specifically made for that. Like I said they are just cheap electric trimmers pretending to be more than they are and taking a cheap electric trimmer to your ballsack is going to end up exactly how you think it is no matter what. There's nothing wrong with trying to keep your pubes trimmed and neat looking but seriously don't attempt to shave them all off it never ends well I don't care what anyone says/claims.

There are a lot of these youtube sponsors that are in the Men's Health that like to prey on the insecurities of men like Manscaped and Hims. If you're starting to go bald, just shave your head. If you want to trim your body hair, any trimmer will work just as well if not better than Manscaped.

Well, that makes trimmers pointless in my eyes. If I have to buy a disposable razer for my private parts anyway, I'll just use it everywhere else.

A disposable razor to the balls is a much worse idea. I think the point I was trying to make is that manscaping straight up doesn't work down there aside from like waxing which no one is brave enough to do. Anyone feel free to prove me wrong but I've had zero success with it and I'm just trying to tell people not to fall for the manscaping meme.

Haven't seen anyone mention Filmora. My naïve ass actually fell for the YouTubers saying they'd been using it prior to getting sponsored. When Filmora9 updated to FilmoraX, it crashed my PC. After a month of the Blue Screen of Death, I found myself completely reinstalling Windows.

One thing about sponsored products is that even if the creator genuinely loved the product they receive, there's a good chance it doesn't actually reflect the product being sold. Of course companies with send the best they've got to the people they want to promote them.
Filmora switched to subscription licenses for $$$$, then copystriked Daniel Batal when he called them out on it.

How much money did you waste on anti hair loss meds?
None so far, 'cause I'm not losing hair, and my dad had a full head of hair until his fifties. But if I did, I would still be hesitant to start taking medication, since the only options are Finasteride and Rogaine. The former can kill your penis and make you seriously depressed, and the latter is ineffective on its own. Also:

You could probably divide these to tiers between outright hurtful scams (Better Help, Crypto), scams that will waste large chunk of money (Established Titles), shitty over expensive products (Manscape), or average products.

I can't really fault YouTubers who advertise the latter two, since the platform is incredibly hostile, Patreon is fucked and is a content killer, and I'd rather the creator would make good content rather than gimp the quality for THE ALGORITHM. Well, except Manscape, shaving your balls is really fucking gay.

Also I remember one service that sells customized mattresses that always sounded too good to be true.

I wonder if the 8% were trannies

Hurting yourself while using an electric trimmer on your balls is almost a rite of passage. As you said, there's no way you're not going to hurt yourself doing it and it was my indicator to Manscaped being a scam.

One type of sponsor that absolutely throws me is financial institutions (e.g. Chime Banking). Folks will put creators on blast for promoting crypto scams, but no one bats an eye when someone promotes a bank. They're both telling viewers to trust an outside entity with their money. I'd say it's slimier to promote banks than crypto scams for the sole reason that it's common practice across the board for people to entrust their life savings and income to banks. It's common knowledge that crypto is a gamble and people who invest their money in crypto are buying into something that the majority of the public aren't. A lot of people set up their first bank account when they're kids. A lot of people have their paychecks directly deposited into their bank accounts. These sponsors make my skin crawl.

I never understood why people think in video sponsors are a good idea since they’re totally skippable and usually terrible products.
From my understanding advertisers who are willing to pay a lot of money do it because they want brand recognition above anything else. Take Raid Shadow Legends, obviously a terrible product and unless you're watching an Internet Historian video everyone's going to skip the ad at this point. But thanks to hundreds if not thousands of Youtubers putting RAID in their comments and in their videos everyone knows about it, which apparently companies with a lot of money really care about because statistics show that it works I guess.

Been a while since anyone post in here, so let me revive this thread for a secs to bring attention to the fact that there are people still taking sponsorships from Bettehelp

How the fuck has this guy not heard of the shit Betterhelp got themselves into
Or is he such a Jew that he dosen't care he's taking a sponsorship from a shady companies

Noticed right-leaning YTers shilling for gold IRA investment services.

Nick Rekieta was sponsored by Birch Gold last fall, supposedly run by a former Iraqi pornographer.

Listened to two videos from Alison Morrow and Michael Malice who both had ad reads for Patriot Gold.

Ads seem focused on just getting people to call in to talk to a live person about converting some of their investment assets into "gold" on paper.

Seems targeted at the skeptic/conspiracy theory/prepper community who have an inkling that precious metals hold their value but don't know how to go the next step of acquiring some physically.
