so im sympathetic to the idea this stuff is being pushed by the algo, but i spent a few minutes scrolling the shorts with my VPN off and using a fresh chrome install which ive literally never used for anything before. all i got was tiktok style slop. what i saw makes me hate humanity, but none of it was pedo or sexual content. this of course isnt a solid proof that OP is gooning, but i have yet to see what he is talking about, either on my main account or in a fresh browser.

maybe it is based on personal recommendation, but seeing how it is we are the witches, perhaps he isnt watching pedo stuff, but just tyranny stuff, this would lead him to also see pedo stuff seing how close the two seem to overlap.

I made that mistake of watching an India tutorial a while back and it took ages to get rid of the "In HINDI" videos.

i find the only way to fix this is to go into your history and remove every video you dont want youtube using for your suggestion. it doesnt 100% get rid of the terrible recomendations, but it does vastly cut them down.

I've recently been watching youtube on the work pc. I always start a new incog window so the page is blank until I look up my first video. Tried to start with a variety of different content and see how different my initial algorithm is. What I've noticed from the recommended shorts is that each row is typically 2-3 thirst trap videos 2-3 viral cpm videos and the few remaining will either be random or directly linked to my algorithm.
