This guy is one of those video makers where the subject of the video is more interesting than the person talking about it. He's incredibly boring and takes himself too seriously especially given some of the political stuff he talks about would be really hilarious. It's like if Mister Metokur took all the people he discussed in his videos extremely seriously with none of the charisma, that is what Jose is.

I found him through his LOTR videos. His one of the very few people on jewtube that I like. But, his mind broke with that new video and probably the IRL cyberpunk/edgerunners fanboy video too so I lost some respect for him. I believe he is 30. He needs to act his age and seriously consider starting a family before his sperm degrades or consider being celibate for God since he is apparently Catholic.

I watched about half of the video not long after it was uploaded so my memory might be rusty. From what I remember he goes on this grandiose, complex TES:4 Oblivion class system of the world hierarchy and archetypes which he over-explains and over-thinks. He doesn't seem to be aware that most of what has happened is due to technology advancing, which that is due to human nature and is always advancing. He's got this enlightened centrist energy with how he thinks the future will be a synthesis of the two opposing ideas of today which he doesn't understand nor care about.

I don't like people who are so confident in the future because it blinds them to reality by making them unaware of the present and over-confident that their future will somehow appear. They don't know the future is forged by the present and can dramatically change by the actions occurring in the present that they do not heed. It's far more healthy to focus in the present and give acknowledge and respect to the past and future.

This future of an ideological synthesis won't because these ideas generally characterised as 'right wing' and 'left wing' are polar forces in a absolute fight to the death. The WEF/left will not lose to time and combine with nationalism to make a (deformed child) synthesis like what he says, but it'll just start to collapse in itself due to its own unsustainable ideology/leftism and lose to active external threats (Russia, China, etc) and internal decay, and go the way of the Roman Empire, leading to the formation of new nationalist kingdoms in its remains.

Really, "nationalism destroyed". Nationalism is tribalism on an international level which is human nature in regards with the technology that allows the organisation of nations and international politics and relations. As long as nations exist nationalism will never be destroyed. He has a political science degree and had at least one woke professor. Maybe those useless degrees fries brains.

I don't mean to shit on him, I do like him still and wish him good health, but does anyone else think he's losing it, leaving Brazil to travel across Europe, acquiring NATO firearm training and going up to Finland. IDK maybe it's just ol' xenophobic me since I've never left my country, don't like anything foreign, and especially hate foreign food. Also, what's the place he got firearm training? It was somewhere in Poland.

I think his point was that Nationalism and Globalism both exist to benefit one class of political power, the Beaurocratic class. He approached the civilization issue from an almost Asian perspective where society is organized among the peasants, the warriors, the priests, the merchants and the beaurocrats and how the latter four are all jockeying for control of the peasantry.

His point was both nationalism and globalism build around highly beaurocratic states, where the only functional difference for society is where the beaurocracy is located, and that neither is sustainable as Meechants, Priests and Warriors are also capable of taking power in their own way. The only reason the beaurocracy is so powerful now is because the other three power blocks have let them do it. But that is changing.

The merchant class has gained enormous power through extra national banks. The military industrial complex is starting to produce private armies and military contractors, while a new Academic "priesthood" has arisen in conjunction with an increase in participation with dogmatic religions and cults.

His point was both Nationalism and Globalism will consequently fail due to the overreach of the beaurocratic class in favor of some form of neo-middle ages power structure where instead of nation states or one global hegemony you will have a Mish mash of theocratic, merchant and militant factions that alternately control territory directly or behind the scenes. Think Dutch east indies company, knights hospitalier Archbishoprics and so on.

I'm going to tell you about a very good video essay I saw the other day. But first...

A personal anecdote...
 
I've been looking for a time or place to talk about this one in particular. The guy freaks out that Caesar is Fascist and New Vegas is trying to "spin" Fascism. He then concludes that New Vegas and Fallout overall is promoting Communism by omission of a faction representing it, never mind the fact that the whole setting is rooted in the U.S. getting nuked by a Communist country. The wasteland of New Vegas is New Vegas' commentary on Communism, but of course this person can't comprehend a game he likes without it serving his dead ideology of choice.
 
Going to post a woman who seems to have no mention on the Farms yet. Anyone seen videos by Cheyenne Lin? She is some ultra left Asian who makes videos on the usual privilege and other shit, but a unique aspect is the more personal vids.

I cannot speak to what her home life is, but judging on the videos, she seems a stranger from her parents and was bullied throughout life,

She also has a vid on bullying that contradicts itself half way through as she pleads for the audience to sympathize with bully victims, unless, you know, they support MAGA.
 
Like a lot of people here I used to watch video essays for white noise, but I’ve been avoiding them recently as it’s all the same tired tripe. The videos are extremely long and I legitimately can’t understand why. They could be easily trimmed to half their length and maybe that way they could have more than a nasal voice over repeating footage.

And there’s always a point where the essayists start ranting about capitalism or trans rights, it doesn’t matter if it’s books, movies, shows or games, they always veer into politics sooner or later.

The YouTube algorithm favors longer watch times and they create more ad opportunities. The way YouTube currently works now is that it favors long ass videos that can be shit out quickly, which is why video essays have become so prominent.

Sadly, rarely any of these essays have anything truly interesting to say with the only ones I tend to like keeping their video length under about 30 minutes or so.

This Nihil-Faggot literally says something akin to "Depressing media is actually interesting, unlike happy media!" and then I stopped watching. Motherfucker genuinely thinks that depressing, nihilistic, bleak media like Opal is interesting and must-watches and films like The LEGO Movie and Princess and the Frog are "bland kid's stuff". And that is FUCKING DISGRACEFUL. Look, I have no problem with dark stuff (see: The Twilight Zone, Black Mirror, The Witcher 2007, The Darkness, Metal Gear Solid 1, 2 & 4, friggin' Alien 3 etc.), but when you genuinely believe that nihilism like Opal is better than greats like Princess and the Frog, you can kindly go fish.

Look, if you're curious as to why I'm livid and why I find this essay insulting, Opal is a short where the titular character investigates a dark house, coming across a chainsmoking grandfather, a vane father, and a drunk mother who beat her husband. They all call her "Claire", and this all culminates in a Twilight Zone-styled twist ending where it turns out that Opal's family doesn't exist, Opal IS Claire, and she's stuck in an abusive situation involving parental negelct. THIS is what the fart-sniffer thinks holds up better than Disney's last 2D Animated Movie. Do you see where I'm coming from now?

hbomberguy's extremely liberal point of view has stirred me away. Now I am no cuckservative youtuber dickrider but having such a massive aversion to globalist authoritarianism and the seven deadly sins, his channel is pretty challenging to watch. He's most famous for the 2 hour long schizo post of a sound effect of a 2000 video game used in a shitty MMORPG known as Roblox. Though, hbomberguy does manage to make some good points (like how Christian libraries mistaken Messiah as an actual christian game), the massive reverence to sin has stirred me away and the attempts debunking critics of globalism has only emboldened my condemnation.

These statements have nothing to do with defending deeply flawed conservative youtubers such as Paul Joseph Watson (I can spend days pointing out hypocrisies of guys like him). However, I still find it crucial to call out those who actively try to demoralize the human population. I have absolutely no tolerance for sin being forced into my face which explains my extreme hatred on LGBT and Pornography (one I'm still trying to break addiction from).

Veritasium has made some video I can consider groundbreaking but has massive ties to such pseudoscience freemasons. Vsauce is another example though I do love many of his video even if they have some fatal flaws. Bill Gates sponsoring his fucking shitty book in one of the Vsauce videos is an anxiety inducing moment for sure. I do love Professor Dave Explain's videos on mathematical topics but his aversion to flat earthers feel rather irrational though I am willing to admit a lot of flat earthers like Eric Dubay are very weird. I refuse to settle on the shape of the earth to this day because of it.

I really love videos made by Solar Sands and I really do feel in many of this things he has talked about. However, he's extremely neurotic (even worse than me), and only began to realize his life in chosen solitude has took a toll on him. It reminds me a lot of my 2 week trip to Japan. Like Japan represents a rather decent friend burning in it's own shortcomings.

Lemmino also makes awesome video essays, although a lot of videos contain pseudoscience rather out of being naive than being malicious. I absolutely loved the ambitious efforts in The Enduring Mystery of Jack the Ripper. The research efforts in The Universal S, the comedic nature in Top 10 Facts - 2017 and the unsettling nature of Grazed by the Apocalypse which introduced me to an extremely underrated band known as Aphrodite's Child known for having Vangelis as one of it's band members. Other than that, the channel isn't all that special.

Pax Tube is a YouTuber who's views contrast hbomberguy in basically every aspect making his channel very interesting for me. I absolutely admire his ruthless response to pseudo-scientists and faggots and it's so beautiful. He's gone so past all this western psychological warfare efforts and isn't even afraid to call out shithole western NATO countries for their brutal psychological warfare efforts on it's citizens. He doesn't have much of an audience which may explain why he wasn't banned yet but those topics were very taboo for YouTube from 2017 - 2021 and it's noticeable that he couldn't get to the revelation just yet. With that being said, as he represents my ideal views, there probably some points he'll still be wrong about but it's hard to discern constructive criticism and psychological warfare when it comes to criticism of Pax Tube.

Emplemon is probably the best when it comes to video essays. Although more central leaning than Pax Tube, he manages to make any random topic interesting. I only approach sports as a one time thing but I always tune into anything when he talks about sports because his essays are so compelling. It gives me a new perception of sports I never thought of before. One that's bittersweet. It's got it's start with making hilarious YouTube poops but the changing TOS of YouTube has made him delete almost every single one of them. Also having ties with a heterosapien who has been wrongfully banned from YouTube in 2018 for all the bullshit reasons. So video essays is where he got to and he's been getting much better at them.

Also briefly mentioning YMS video on Kimba, absolutely a game changer destroying a bullshit narrative. (It isn't slaying the sacred cow of faggotry level but it got the ball rolling). Also, Turkey Tom giving interesting documentaries of the internet's biggest laughing stocks citing KiwiFarms as one of his sources.

With all that has been said. None are perfect so they're gonna have to give me a good reason to spend some of my time listening to them elaborating at the topic. I don't want to keep this going because it would eventually become an extremely neurotic essay at this point. I promise there won't be any more shitty posts like this from now on as it already looks as shitty as the shitty essays mentioned kinda of defeating the purpose at this point and at this point deserves to be shit on.
