I disagree with a lot of hbomberguy's political opinions but holy fucking shit is he far more superior than right wing shills (ones whose political opinions I normally agree with) like Paul Joseph Watson and Ben Garrison (whom I later stopped agreeing with for being simps to Trump and Capitalism). Who knew sucking on Trumps cock and getting skullfucked by it would make them childish retards. It only takes a fairly reasonable liberal like hbomberguy and CuteFuzzyWeasel to break the facade of Pride swallowing MAGAtards and make them look like adult babies.

But seriously, I don't know which powerleveling essay would be dumber. But I knew Paul was full of shit before giving hbomberguy a chance. I just wanted to see if he's as smart as my lord and savior CuteFuzzyWeasel.
 
Gonna necro this thread but I've found myself seething about the "retrospective" format lately. It seems like every single retrospective nowadays is some monotone loser literally reading a synopsis of a game's story and general mechanics with pretty much no insight on anything else, no opinions outside of "wow I really liked this game" at the end and no bite to anything said. Videos like Running Shine's YIIK retrospective of the Ocarina of Time vids are insightful and genuinely funny the whole way through, and it doesnt seem like anyone can even approach those in quality.

Don't even get me started on the weird political brainrot retards though, it seems every other video some retard starts talking about their boyfriend, communism or how this game from 1995 totally has a trans allegory character, and it makes me completely devalue anything the content creator said; it feels like my time was robbed by a retard, especially if the revelation that I'd been listening to a midwit comes halfway through the multi-hour long video.

I saw the TaHM one grow. It ticks all the boxes about thing that is recognizable but not enough people care now so he can dictate whatever narrative he wants. A lot of Commonwealth accents end up sounding like that because of over consumption of American media.
