That’s the common trap for any “challenge run” youtuber. Basically any game can be broken down to the point where the numbers of it are solved, and if you are, for instance, playing Fallout and Skyrim dozens if not hundreds of times, it doesn’t matter how you dress it up anymore. So you either wise up and diversify (probably into some adjacent gamer-flavored slop content like tier lists) or you lean fully into the parasocial aspect and try to become a Twitch Guy. Or you can take the Mittensquad (RIP) route and let your demons kill you before you become completely tiresome.

I forgot which video(s) he showed his mods list in, but it was a mess of stuff he kept on for essentially every video. Many of the them also had him abusing glitches and console commands to make meaningful progress or to set up the premise of the video to begin with. Surprisingly, every video features repeated CTDs and performance issues.

Instagram only allows the right holder of content to report that same material for copyright infringement [...] and because you can't report something on someone else's behalf unless you are that legal representative, no matter how obvious it is - and it is getting pretty obvious - the problem currently has no solution. The pace at which copyright holders will find out about this is insignificant compared to the accelerating pace of the problem itself

Honestly, there are so many slop youtubers that produce nearly identical content in all areas of youtube that somehow all have millions of subscribers nowadays, it's difficult to name one.

Hate is maybe a bit of a strong word, I generally don't dislike them as people or anything, but I'm concerned for the people who are subbed to like 20 different lets play youtubers who all play the same games, often even upload on the same days, react to games the exact same way, etc etc, and actually watch most of those videos religiously. Same with shit like video essayists, tho those at least upload less frequently.

While I often generally agree with Clownfish TV I had to unsub, because even if it's something I agree with I don't need to have 26 videos (I counted) that are each 10-20 minutes long shoved into my inbox every week.

And on the subject of big cooking youtubers, I kinda like Ethan Chlebowski. His videos still have some of that annoying typical youtube stank (esp the tumbnails/titles), but his recipes are usually realistic for the main audience and his personality is bearable.
His slightly older (3-4 years ago) & shorter videos were imo way better (simpler, less sensationalisised, better substitution tips, etc) than his recent & longer videos tho, so I fear the youtbe rot has already started.

I brought him up last year in the Youtube Autism thread, but william osman is still someone i heavily dislike, from doxxing a guy , catfishing him , and then confronting him after possibly commiting a crime by making him sign a contract under false pre-tenses, to then a few weeks later making a pity party video about how upset it makes him to be called a faggot on youtube.com, its honestly a miracle the guy isnt shat on more. Also hes friends with idubbz too, 0/10 awful human now face the wall.

I know this is an old comment but, I'd never heard of this guy and his x-ray machine video just came up as a recommendation. I watched it, dude seemed kind of autistic but the machine was cool so I decided to see what other shit he'd done. His recent videos seemed kinda lame. Got to the I'm done one, which was clearly bullshit, then saw the one about people being Mati about the xray machine and it's never turned me off a youtuber faster. Like the first thing I did after watching that was come here to see if he had a thread. I honestly figured somebody fucked up enough to stalk and harass someone in real life because of a slightly mean comment on their youtube video had to be a lolcow.

Then I decided to watch his review of Silent Hill 2 remake and holy shit, it is like anti GG portrayal of average gamer in the flesh. I mean, I can get someone not being happy with remakes (lol, more on that later) and getting their childhood LITERALLY RAPED by another adaptation of their favorite media, but going full sperg like 'IF YOU DON'T AGREE WITH ME, YOU ARE NOT SH FAN" should have no respect from anyone. Damn, I remember during the height of people being unhappy with Battlefield V trailer, one of the devs replied to someone shit like "YOU ARE NOT A GAMER IF YOU DON"T LIKE THIS" and ironically it was as cringe as this. The entire review is not "this is bad and here is why", but just "IT IS NOT LIKE THE ORIGINAL REEEEEEEE". And it wouldn't be so cringy if not for his praise for RE4 remake which got the same treatment. Women have less revealing clothes? Protagonist flirting with women is toned down? Some parts reworked into something else? Well, duuh, in SH2 it is bad, but here it is fine! But what made me rolling laughing on the floor was his mental gymnastics with "well part of original RE4 content was removed, but it was restored in DLC". Yes, PAID FUCKING DLC, so one have to pay to have (mostly) full original game in Ada's campaign! And this fag is crying in every video "boo hoo, if you bought this, you are ruining games, reee". And the whole argument of "this game should have not been remade", lol, ok, and I think that Re4 was holding much better than SH2 and remaking it was a mistake. Now what?
And his defense of tank controls in SH2... Yeah, clearly they had them "to make you more vulnerable and add to suspense", not because every other fucking game on PS2 had them due to technical limitations. This reminds me how that other fag Thor High Heels defended freezes and fps drops in Deadly Premonition 2 on Switch since they were somehow adding to the experience and not because Switch is a piece of shit that can only run 2D games at 30 fps. Again, it's ironic how those fags are from the opposite sides of spectrum, the bell curve theory is real!
