I didn't realize he was asking for somebody else to use their 3D printer for his garbage. Someone should negotiate payment for work, time, and supplies and see how quickly he backs out.

There are companies like Shapeways which do stuff like that. They provide great results, but they're extremely expensive.

Nah. The interface and tech behind AutoCAD and VectorWorks hasn't changed all that much in the past decade, and any 3D printer a ween would give him access to would accept legacy CAD files.*

In other words, he finally has a use for his degree but won't use it.
