Considering the last few ZPs FRs have been shilling shirts, I think that's less likely than ever. Yahtz used to be the only thing worth watching but he has torpedoed his likability and credibility by shifting into nearly the exact same raging no-fun-allowed libtard TB was towards the end of his life. ZPs FRs are on their way to average a measly 200k views, and IIRC jewtube pays around a dollar for a thousand. The rest of their "content" is barely a blip on the chart. AIN barely breaks 10k views. Bytesized sometimes doesn't even reach that. The rest is hovering between 20-50k views per video. It's incredibly depressing that the supposed breaking of Escapist's chains ended with him just being rechained over at SW because he couldn't see the writing on the wall which was Nick being a humongous fucking sterile unfunny faggot. Basically all expenses could be slashed if everyone but Yahtz and his video editor were fired, but there is nobody with enough pull to fucking tell him that, and no doubt Nick would stir up a massive shitstorm of troons and other degenerates to paint himself the victim.

Remember how ecstatic he felt by supposedly being able to be crude and vulgar again? Yeah, that edge got dulled real fucking fast. In case you don't know, the first signs were already in this very shot, as Yahtz admitted he wanted to have his avatar smoke a dildo, but was blocked by Nick.

It has nothing to do with him not seeing the writing, its Yahtzee simply not giving a flying fuck. Even when the Escapist was burning down, he still didnt care as he was just busy in his own world playing games or writing his books. Its one of the reasons he refused to go independant, that means it would involve more work than just making videos, writing his books or.making his crappy games

It's not as bad as Yhatzee. James Rolfe at worst is a normie who played games when he was young, and now has a functional life and does informative videos while raising his kids. At worse you can excuse him for being boring and settling down rather than trying to improve.

Yhatzee, even if we ignore his personal life, still chases the indie crowd with shit games. Behaving as if he is still of the cool camp, including cursing JK Rowling to fit in, and letting others piggyback on his success. He is far more pathetic.

Muh algorithm. I think it's such a fucking cope. People who like a youtuber don't need fucking algorithm to tell them when a new episode is out. They might not watch it the instant it's out but they will get around to it.

It's worth pointing out that the escapist happily fucked with all the people making videos for them except Yahtzee, and only when everyone started comparing notes did he start raising a fuss.

Nah. I previously opined just about a week ago or so that Rolfe is a far better person than Yahtzee is and in a far better position as to his legacy. Plus I'm pretty sure Rolfe's kids are his own while all indications that Yahtzee is very much in a "my wife's son" situation.

Well, there would still be someone needed to handle the money and business side of the business, but Nick is not the person to do that. I doubt that he even does anything with money and just delegates out those tasks.

I haven't watched a Zero Punctuation video in a long time, and is it just me or does the wit feel dull, the pacing seems slow, and the editing leaves much to be desired in terms of visuals. Either it's all gotten worse, I've grown out of it, or he's just not improved at all while everyone else has and it's starting to really show.

All of the above. it takes 40 seconds into that video to get past a dick joke(when the video ends about 5 minutes in) meaning damn near 1/5th of the video is spent on the intro and a dick joke.

Then complains about it being an open world, then complains about fast travel. Complains about dialogue existing. Makes a handful of boring jokes about old gameplay elements(most of the video) as if no one as complained about them to death in other games before. And then... outro and 2 minutes of sponsor segment and patreon name scroll after having lazy visuals to watch only for him to switch to a gay fursona for the sponsor followed by a minute of whining about random bullshit like the algorithm and AI voice over videos.

Hilariously if anyone could pull off AI voice over videos due to natually being so monotone, it'd be him. Just feed his back catalog of scripts into a model, give it a few lines for the prompt for a new video, done. Could probably even train an AI to make the visuals for his shit too.

Algorithm blaming is the easiest cope of a YouTuber. At least small channels have a legitimate issue of growth that can be alleviated with being recommended more, but large zombie channels that people ignore new uploads have no one to blame but themselves.
