For real, or is this just some schizo bullshit?
The speculation is that from the point he didn't really start talking about his wife until he actually had kids (not babies), and the timeframe for marrying and his having kids is tight. By some accounts (unreliable) he married his longtime girlfriend Kess in 2018, which means that unless he impregnated her immediately the oldest would be 6, which is plausible but I think his wife had more than one kid.

Kess came from a wealthy family (according to the stream) which this Redditor implies old money (before sperging out about secret societies). Kess and Yahtzee did a few streams together (see aforementioned link). However, Kess hasn't been seen in a long time. Yahtzee talks about his wife playing video games with him, but that likely isn't Kess. His current wife is likely an American who already had children. If he only met the current girlfriend post-2020 that leaves even less time for the kids to be his.

Either Kess moved with him to San Francisco with his children in tow and he JUST started talking about her more on ZP/FR despite never streaming with him, or the kids are neither his nor Kess's.

i thought he only had a 2 year old daughter? and since when is he not with Kess? Kess used to appear a lot in the live streams, but I've thought she disappeared because people found her annoying.

So...schizo bullshit?

Agreed. Not talking about or having your family on camera, especially if the audience wasn't interested in her on the streams at all, a birthdate and marriage date mean absolutely nothing since she could have gotten knocked up or even had the kid before they got married, and since when does moving from one place to another mean anything regarding kids as if they can't also move? And the only source for this new wife and kids theory is someone speculating on reddit and sperging about secret societies? Come on...

I watched a few more episodes of Zero Punctuation 2.0 and I think I get what I don't like about it. It seems like all of the humor and complaints boil down to "this game delivers what it promises on the box" which seems like a weird way to topic a video when so many games fail at that basic concept. Maybe I'm too brain broken by culture war stupidity but when there are so many games like Dragon Age Veil Guard, Assassin's Creedy African Japan, and whatever else I can't really be mad about some Lord of the Rings game that's obviously an Animal Crossing theme box being that. I'm just not offended by a company making a light hearted story in the Shire that's clearly advertised as such, that might even be a fun change from all the horrible grand adventure flops of the franchise.

Kess is the American he moved to San Francisco for and married. There's an old podcast episode (Keep Et Classy/Cosmic Cast Ep 2: Gabey in the USA) where Gabriel Morton talks about attending their wedding in 2018, though I can't find a copy to link, so I guess that's an unreliable account. It was from before his cohost trooned out, so that's probably why it's unavailable.

Kess accidentally revealed her first pregnancy on a stream in August 2019. She's considerably younger than Yahtz. It seems a far more likely hypothesis that he is still married to her, and they are raising their own children, than that he divorced her and married a single mother behind the scenes. Also I feel like that redditor was just making a joke.

I haven't watched a Zero Punctuation video in a long time, and is it just me or does the wit feel dull, the pacing seems slow, and the editing leaves much to be desired in terms of visuals. Either it's all gotten worse, I've grown out of it, or he's just not improved at all while everyone else has and it's starting to really show.
In Yahtzee defense, the game is a real piece of dog shit so its no wonder he sounds bored talking about it. It has what i like to call "fake open world" where the game looks open but in reality, its just a sandbox that forces you through liner lines. Mindseye also suffered from this but atleast with Mindseye, you were allowed to fail the mission while in Mifa, the game goes further and beyond to make sure you win.

I choose the funnier option unless someone has hard evidence.

Modern gaming is mainly slop aping popular titles with massive amount of propaganda in it. If you aren't going to touch the propaganda part the review boils down to the games being functional.

Yahtz might be slipping but he didn't outright go full TB when marriage is concerned. Keeping his wife and children out of the public light is completely normal and a smart move. They're not "in the game", nor should they be. Let them live their lives without parading Yahtzee like a badge of honor. TB did try to make Genna "a thing" and any videos including or focusing on her were simply painful to watch, and Co-Optional/his channel collapsed almost immediately after his passing, because she's a personality vacuum completely unable to carry a conversation.

Exactly, trying to include the family is one thing but if it doesn't work for whatever reason there's no need to force it. Hell, even DSP didn't have his wife on for ages because even he knew it wouldn't add to anything(and was also trying to hide that she was fat so once the KHET got out of the bag about that, there was no point in hiding it. But even he doesn't continue to parade her around very often.). Husband and wife, and even family channels can work for some people. But if it doesn't, oh well.

Not really copium when other content creators have complained about lost in their viewership in recent weeks because of the new rules youtube has set.

Still, youtube is just making sure dying channels are just dying faster then normal.
Copium because the channel can barely get 1/3 of its subs view the only content people care about, being dependent on the algorithm for "hey that person is still alive" views. It's a zombie channel that can't even argue it has internet cred, they basically bought their fame with Yahtzee and investor money which they are busy burning .

No, it's complete copium. If it weren't copium they wouldn't strangely be on a steady decline on their patreon since the start, or have a flat growth in views that they've had for a year now. Yes, other content creators that actually have an audience have complained about some "issues" with the algorithm. But just because SecondWind says "we're seeing it too!" doesn't mean that is actually the case.

Bingo. And whining about youtube repeatedly(their please give money 12 our livestream was just only a couple of weeks ago) probably doesn't help matters.

For something that's been a recent change, that major dip in views happened between December and February with the channel dropping to 2.4 million views in August weirdly just like when they dropped to 2.6 million views in August last year all while their patreon has been in a slow decline basically since they launched. Lets look at their current month and then August 2024?

Now they seem to have produced less videos this year, but got almost as many views. Strange. But what about the content? Oh it's mostly a bunch of garbage no one is going to care about? Well December 2024 was a good month, what did they make videos about then?

Huh, even fewer videos, but a much higher percentage of videos featuring Yahtzee... maybe as if he's the main draw to the channel and when people aren't flooded with a bunch of crap they aren't interested in the view count rises overall as a result because people are less likely to ignore uploads? Who could image such a thing.

what utter nonsense. How do people believe this?
Restrictive mode is literally just for schools I don't know why he brought it up.
Also literally said at the beginning of the year he wants all trump supporters to die and keeps mentioning politics, is there any wonder people don't wanna watch after that?
Anytime anyone brings up the algorithm it's just to blame something else on the fact they make content no one wants to watch.
