Yes, there is a bit of a Venn diagram between furries and zoophiles. No, that Venn diagram is not just one circle. Zoojay appears to be one of the people belonging to both groups, however it is worth pointing out that the furry fandom at large shuns people like Zoojay and actively wants nothing to do with people like him. He has friends (from the looks of it), but they too are the ostracized people in the fandom. There is latent zoophilia across the sexual side of the fandom (otherwise the participants would just be into kinky hentai or whatever instead), but for the most part this "exotic" aspect of sexual interest is played out with fursuits and avatars and Bad Dragon toys -- not real life encounters with animals.

In the years I've been in the fandom I've had my fair share of encounters with zoophiles. From what I've learned speaking with them, people like Zoojay are people that they absolutely hate because there's a fine line between loving and fucking, allegedly. Abusing animals, especially sheltered ones, is what is considered "zoosadism" and the people who practice it, "zooerasts" (probably spelled those wrong, foggy memory and I'm NOT going to google them). I've met creepy zoos and those whom I'd personally consider relatively well adjusted; the latter are the kind who don't actually have sex with animals but instead just enjoy zoo art/stories and such. They're the "look, don't touch" crowd and despite their weird interests, they're alright in my book.

Oh, yeah, no. Zoojay's a piece of ambulatory crap, a determination I do not make about just anyone, and would be so if he were a furry, a brony, a trekkie, or a shriner. You can find sicko perverts in any aspect of any fandom or group, but the thing that makes Zoojay so repugnant to me is that he's enthusiastically predatory.

That disgusting fucking smile on his face in those clips where he's abusing those dogs (if it isn't the same animal) may or may not show a certain smugness, but he's clearly happy with what he's doing. The fact is, he has a host of people in authority telling him what he's doing is wrong (his parents and two therapists, unless I miss my guess), and what is his reaction? To reflect on what he's being told and perhaps try to curb his behavior, at least on a physically expressive level? Pft, of course not. No, what he does is post cartoons of animals fucking, makes overt innuendo, upload videos of himself at a furry con, and then begs the Internet not to tell anyone.

Let me repeat that: He does things he knows people will have a serious problem with, and his solution is to tell others not to tell anyone.

I don't a-log, I speak the truth: Zoojay is a piece of shit. Throw him in prison.

I read this entire thread last night and was completely horrified. I had to attempt to sleep and come back to write a response. Those poor animals ;___;

Also, why would he post a video online and then ask people to not show them to his docs and mom? Now I'm just waiting for a ween to strike.
 
I tell you what - there are (or were, if it's still up) a tonne of selfies he's got on his facebook. Same freeking theme over and over again: his big punchable sausage ass of a face. It occurs to me that the guy is an attention fiend.

As much as he begs for people not to share the video with those that would bust him, I would not be even slightly surprised if he truly wanted it shared with them, for whatever bizarre reason. It could be that he in fact really wants the videos shared with several people, but is trying to make it clear that his mom, et al should be avoided.

I've never really heard of people having a future lawyer. You either have paid money to one, and therefore have one, or you don't. A 'future lawyer' sounds like having a waifu and calling them a girlfriend.
