The issue is, the fact he enjoys the idea that molesting kids and torturing animals upsets people doesn't necessarily mean he wouldn’t actually do it. I’ve no doubt these people engage in fantasies and say outrageous things to get a reaction, but Nick Bate stands as a testament to why these people should be taken seriously.
