So, I searched this forum and I haven't seen any information on this one, yet.
Let me introduce you to Elysia Johnson. On TikTok @ladyenchantresed. GFM
link. And, the Amazon: I don't disagree that this little one is ill. But, mom is MILKING THIS. Every time the GFM goes more than 10 hours without a donation, there's a crisis. She also has Amazon Wish List. On 9/8, you know, when her daughter was on death's door and her tiktok went viral, she added a $2000 laptop. I know that's what I'm concerned about when begging for $36,000 in medical bills! A Kids Kindle Fire Tablet ($99.99) on 9/5...when the kid is comatose? Pedialyte Pops (fair enough...although, you can't afford popsicles?), a cargo net for the truck, some cosplay shit, and cool home decor posters...added on 9/15. Some bulk facemasks that can be returned for cash. Some Hocus Pocus Art Prints (added 9/14). Accoustic sound panels (added 9/12) and Metallic Paint Markers (9/12).
Per her TikTok, Elysia identifies as a "39/f/cosplay/artist/SPOONIE"...which tells us a lot. Looking through some of her old stuff, it would appear that she's your everyday Fibro and Anxiety combo. But, of course, it's the worst thing ever. She has two children, one of whom she's currently shilling on TikTok for the GFM. The timeline:
Her daughter (we'll call her Lyn) is three. Since she has been born, there have been a swarm of issues. Elysia has claimed that she was born with seizures, epilepsy, and some other "neurological disorders". What should be pointed out is that, given all of the complications and illnesses this little girl was diagnosed with, she was enrolled into a State Children's plan. Elysia has mentioned this MANY, MANY times. She even mentioned it in a video earlier this month when she slipped and said, "we don't know what Lyn's insurance is going to do" (implying that Lyn has a separate plan from the family).
Timeline:
8/30 - Elysia posts a video showing Lyn with a "101.5 fever". She claims they've been unable to keep her seizure meds in or keep her fever down.
8/31 - Has been at the ER all night; says they were quarantining but, WITH A SMILE ON HER FACE, says her sister's family has tested positive for Covid (way to dox her sis). She says both her children, Lyn and her school age son, tested positive for Covid. Evalyn, despite just saying that she spent the night at the ER and her SICK BABY TESTED POSITIVE, goes on a 30 second scree about her own issues. She claims she's actively doing chemo for lupus, RA, "you name it"...and she's positive. Her "partner" is not positive. She asks for prayers.
8/31 - She says "she just got her test results back" (again?) and that she is (again) positive. She doesn't have time to be sick. She doesn't know what's going to happen. Keep in mind, Lyn was running a fever and having issues yesterday, but it's all about her. She says she "made the mistake" of "not having Lyn admitted last night". Mmmmkay. That wasn't mentioned in your last video. Her partner can't stay home to help because of the type of work he's doing. Um...if everyone in your house tested positive, why is he leaving?
9/1 - This is when she starts showing off Lyn HARD. It's really heartbreaking to watch (fair warning). Claims Lyn can't keep down any fluid. The poor thing looks absolutely drugged or out of it. But, she doesn't look parched. She says her fever is 102. I'm not sure why moms think it's cool to show their kid suffering. She says "we're going to try and keep her home where she's comfortable." Uh. What? 102. Covid. Can't keep fluid or meds in and last night you were upset that you didn't admit her...but, let's keep her home. Oh yeah...and the kid is coughing and wheezing so they may have to nebulize.
9/1 - Later that day, mom posts TWO VIDEOS in cosplay. Are you serious? One is part of a body positivity series. #allthepositivethings
9/2 - Back to "it's all touch and go". While making cosplay vids, Lyn was spiking 103 temperatures and they debated taking her to the ER some more. Giving her motrin and Tylenol (which was kept down...so why not water?). Says, if she would've been coughing or wheezing, they'd have taken her in. Thank the Lord, the fever broke at 3AM. Evalyn has been up all night (cosplaying?) because when you have an epileptic child, things can go to shit. Kid ate breakfast and is drinking. Is alert. Walking around. But, it's still "touch and go".
Part 2 of this day's TikTok is all about Elysia. Doctors have told her to stop taking all her meds or some batshit nonsense. No chemo or infusions for her because it will further compromise her immune system.
9/2 - Lyn's hospitalized. Despite this being the same day, now the message is "all night last night, she was at 103." Wait. You said her fever broke and took some time out for cosplay. They "call ahead" and there's a wait. During this period, Lyn "became unconscious and unresponsive". She's so dehydrated that they couldn't find a vein.
9/2 - Admission. AND A GOFUNDME asking for $36,000 for "expenses" and copays.
Wait. What? After some people asked what hospital the baby was at, a call was made by one TikTok member and that person was told that the family wouldn't have any hospital expenses because the hospital is billing the feds for Covid related costs. When the commenter mentioned that they called the hospital to put money on the books for the bills/costs, they were told the family shouldn't have any hospital related costs. Obviously, the hospital isn't going to say specifically why for that family because HIPPA. But, they were clear that there should be no bills.
THAT COMMENT WAS DELETED. I saw it one minute and the next it was gone.
9/3 - Kid is still inpatient and very sick. Mom posts more cosplay.
9/3- More cosplay.
9/4 - Lyn's awake and eating and drinking. Looks like the hospital admission has got her in a better place. YAY, right?
9/4 - Not yay! Lyn has taken a turn and is getting an EET. Which, as an epileptic, happens. Neurologist thinks all of the seizures are NOT covid related and the sleepiness is post-seizure. But, her bloodwork shows low white blood cells and elevated inflammation. Now, according to mom, they want an immunologist to come in because, if baby has covid (which, this isn't an IF if earlier claims are correct). Now she says they're not going home tomorrow and "but she's got a long road to go".
9/5 - Still doing EEG. More fevers. She wasn't her normal "perky self" (this kid hasn't been perky, according to mom, for a few days). Says they'll be in hospital another night and she still needs IV fluids. People note that there's no oxygen necessary but mom claims in hashtags and GFM that covid is responsible. They "can't get enough blood". Elysia says her mom had to get a PICC line today and she's sorry she passed down "bad veins" to Lyn. This woman actually giggles about her kids' lack of good veins WTF?
9/6 - Lyn needs to be transferred. She looked better that morning and she ate all her meals but she's been asleep most of the day and unresponsive. Thinking of transferring her to a hospital in Madison with a PICU. Thinking maybe it's Covid neurology.
9/6 - Lyn is being transferred. Mom is following the ambulance and tiktok-ing while driving. Please pray.
9/7 - After the transfer, Lyn was a "little more active". But, now it's encephalitis. Elysia explains that this is "covid reaching the brain because she has a neurological disorder with her epilepsy". What? Epilepsy does't give covid a secret back door. The Covid is causing further delays (?) with her disorder. Elysia hypes it up and claims that they're worried Lyn has had a blood clot and a stroke. As soon as she says this, a purple popup with a link to the GoFundMe pops up.
Note: No one from the hospital has told them they need to pony up money. Any parent of a child at that hospital can stay in lodgings provided.
9/7 - Shows Lyn asleep whilst alarm go off. No oxygen or covid related treatment measures (like proning or even a sat monitor). Mom says the baby is not waking up and she'll need an MRI and a spinal tap.
9/7 - ONE HOUR after previous vid. Now the GoFundMe has gotten a few donations but the mom says she's gone into "a comatose state". Shows the kid. Claims vitals dropped and heart rate and O2 sats tanked (but, there was no monitor in the last video). Says pressure "kept dropping, kept dropping, but WE DO HAVE A LINK TO OUR GO FUND ME". Claims they're asking for help with medical bills...that they won't actually have.
WTAF. How is a GoFundMe going to heal your daughter?
More people in comments ask for hospital info to make donations directly. One lady says she'll give $1000 to the hospital to help. Another suggests that they'll donate to the hospital too. One of those is deleted. People noticed. Their comments are gone too.
GFM gets to $5000. Guess who improves?
9/11 - Lyn is up and about. Playing. Looks alert and great. But, Elysia says "We still have extensive therapy and time to heal (link to GF)". Kid is eating and they're going home. BUT LINKS TO THE GOFUNDME with PIC OF SAD, SICK LYN getting the EEG. Posts texts saying, "we still need help with those bills" and "we'll need special equipment and padding at home" (which...shouldn't you already have with an epileptic child?
9/11 - Mom shares local news story that was done on her child.
Between 9/11 and 9/14, there's only TikToks of silly stuff (which have been deleted). But, I guess that news story didn't equate to more donations because...
9/16 - Update on Lyn is that she's sleeping all the time and "fighting to get back to where she was". They notice a difference on her delays and deficits. She's regressed. Says they have an appointment for PT/OT (which would be fully covered in Illinois) on the 29th. Why she's giving all of these details to the public? Who knows! Says they've been WAITLISTED A COUPLE OF MONTHS (so, pre-covid. You were on the list for these rehab therapies BEFORE covid which means that you knew these expenses and services were needed at least two months ago). Lyn says the Covid might "get her in sooner". Now that things are on the upswing for Lyn, it's time to remind everyone that Grandma also had covid. It screwed up her heart so now they might need help for grandma. ANOTHER GO FUND ME PLUG
GFM donations have pretty much stalled. But, on 9/17, guess who has had their hair re-dyed and styled?
9/17 - Did I mention my father is sick? On a positive note, Lyn is doing normal kiddo stuff and squealing in the back of the van and says "everyone wants to see me!"

Elysia says, "she slept until 11am but she mostly just screams now in exclamations and bursts of emotion but he speech is nowhere near what it used to be". Really? 'Cuz, I see a happy, communicative kiddo that understands she has a public following that wants to see her. That's pretty high order thinking for a three year old. "Again, thanks for the support...link to gofundme".
9/17 - Cosplay!
9/17- Picking up kid from school and someone in his class tested positive for Covid. You can hear Lyn chatting away in the background. Elysia is LIVID because her kid has to quarantine because of a positive Covid case in his class. Uh. Hi. You claimed YOUR KID WAS POSITIVE less than two weeks ago. Wouldn't he have just back to school? "Now he has to quarantine"? Wasn't he in quarantine when he was sick and Lyn was hospitalized? She clarifies that he's only been to school four days this year. But, she's mad that another family is dealing with what they just experienced. SMH Lyn says she wants a donut...which I support. Mom, who has been worrying about this kid not eating and drinking, doesn't give her a flippin' donut and rants in front of her previously deathly ill child. Like you do. Well, at least she didn't link to her GFM... Goddamit, the link was in the description.
12 Hours later, 9/18 - LYN is unresponsive! (I think she looks like a three year old napping in a car seat). They've been pushing food and fluids but she doesn't want to eat or drink (DONUT?). No one can draw blood on her so she might have to be readmitted if she can't get her awake at 3pm. Apparently, she's seen her pediatrician and the doctor didn't just admit her but wants to wait until the afternoon and for her to get home and see if she wakes up. Yeah. That seems legit.
Yesterday, she was admitted again. Mom says she wasn't doing well. Mom hopes to get more testing done because the kid wasn't staying awake, eating, or drinking. Mom says she didn't react to blood draws. Please see their GoFundMe.
People start asking questions... mom starts defending the fact that the little girl isn't on oxygen or monitors for breathing. People question why there's no PICC port, if the veins are being skittish. Mom says Covid didn't affect her breathing (Wait, what?). This is a Seizure Disorder Covid thing and now she's getting dehydrated and has encephalitis on top of Covid. Claims Lyn was released home on the 10th...which gets called out because she made the tiktok of the child playing on the floor of the hospital room on the 11th.
15 Hours Ago- Lyn was perky after fluids and breakfast (you don't say). Doctor's took her off IV fluids. Now the doctors wonder if her meds are causing her symptoms and so the docs take her off her meds. Mom fronts that she knows better and is semi-happy to report...she was right and they had to put the IV back in (or the PICC...because, that is something you just yank willy-nilly when you're not sure if the kid can keep fluids in). Claims she wasn't eating at lunch and wouldn't drink at lunch and got a rash. Getting her ready for bed and she allegedly puked up all the fluids and her rash is spreading. Doctor gives her some IV benedryl (do you think that's why she might be sleeping? Just asking for a friend.). Mom fears that Lyn has Mis-C (a covid complication). Link to GFM still active.
14 hours ago- Eva is still asleep (yeah...they give her benedryl) and she's still sick. It's been an hour. Mom says one of her fears from the beginning was that Covid would attack all of her systems. Now she's calling out the doctor who is addressing the ONE HOUR or puking with benedryl, zofran, and other meds. Now the #chronicillness tag is used.
