It's like he's Bane from that last Batman movie. Could you just imagine a shirtless Lucas running around in a Bane mask saying "I give this city back to you".
I think this shows just how far out of touch he is with how society actually functions. What he's advocating for is a complete breakdown of the social order and somehow we'll go back to a barter society. Let's say that pilot does steal that plane, while he's able to fly it, he's probably not knowledgeable enough to keep it in the air. So he needs to figure out a way to barter his ability to fly the plane to the guys who maintain the aircraft. He'll also need to barter for fuel. It seems horribly inefficient and would break down the minute the guy who maintains the plane didn't want to go for an airplane ride that day.
If only there was an instrument to quantify and collect the value of the services you perform and exchange them for goods and services performed and produced by other people who don't directly need those services at that given moment. Then again, I'm just a bigoted capitalist... so what do I know.
