singstar challenge 2: electric boogalooBut how would we tell them apart?
*ScaldingYes, to throw it at Chris' face because it's scolding hot.
It depends on what it's being used to prove and whether it's seen as more prejudicial than probative. It could be introduced to prove just one thing, like state of mind, but not to prove guilt or innocence. If it is introduced under such a restriction, there will be an order to the jury as to what purpose it can be used for. If it's seen as so prejudicial on an issue for which it is inadmissible, it won't be allowed in.Will the psychiatric forensic evidence be introduced in court where everyone can hear or will the judge be the only one privy to this info?
Autocorrect*Scalding
What stands out to me is the fact that this can be used as evidence by prosecution- it has been made public and therefore is not something told "in confidence" to his lawyer. Like, this is directly admissible in court and if the prosecution gets ahold of it (they have, I'm sure) Chris just incriminated himself yet again. All he had to do is write this directly to his lawyer or say it over a prisoner zoom call."I am Literally also Jesus Christ"
- Christian Weston Chandler, 2021
Chris, a word of advice - if you want out of the clink, then forwarding a letter to your lawyer where you claim to be Jesus Christ and admit to having sex with your mother is not a good idea.
But then again I'm not the son of God so what the fuck do I know.
Idealy, Chris should be at the bottom of a lake for raping his mom.Ideally Chris should be in a safe bubble, heavily medicated and socialized via CBT, but it's cheapiest and easiest for everyone involved just to negotiate a prison stay.
Pocket? Oh ho ho, no, son... they cheek that shit.Imagine being the inmate who loans Chris his razor.
“That autistic motherfucker did what with my blade? Man and I put that shit back in my prison pocket already…”
He already did. That's the problem. You literally just made the best possible argument as to why Chris should get off.
The best thing Chris can do for himself right now is keep his mouth shut. What stands out to me is the fact that this can be used as evidence by prosecution- it has been made public and therefore is not something told "in confidence" to his lawyer. I'm just sitting here wondering - is Chris trying to get the book thrown at him?
That’s like the tagline to his life’s story. The best thing Chris can do for himself right now is keep his mouth shut.
And what can Chris absolutely not do, ever? Keep his fucking mouth shut.
Somewhere he got exposed to the word Emmanuel and connected it with the Divine--but he also thought Emmanuel was a woman, which he must have gotten from those 1970s French/Italian/Dutch/Indonesian soft core action-adventure series, of which there were apparently two, differentiated by slight differences in the spelling of the protagonist's name. (Never actually gotten into it, been meaning to try.)Guessing they gave Chris a bible to read and having nothing else to focus on, that then drove him to this get this in his head. He hasn't gotten any stimulation from his toys and games for so long probably that's why there's so little about sonichu in those letters.
He has already told the cops everything, I guarantee. If he’s this open about his crimes in the letter there’s no way he hasn’t told the cops about it too - especially if they sent in a female cop to talk to him. I think post prison will be the most interesting but in a train wreck kind of way since I don't think there's any way Chris will be able to stay out of trouble, especially if he has to stay away from Barb/his old house and if he gets on any sex register that likely means no more pokemon card clubs or My Little Pony conventions and he'll be back in prison within a few months and even if he's not on a sex register I can't imagine a store owner would want a man like Chris in their store interacting with kids after seeing him all over the news.Chris is a genuine fucking lunatic at this point- and the transition is shocking. At first he was a guy who just inserted himself into his comic, which at face value was harmless escapism, but it's morphed into something really fucked-up now.
This new prison saga is somehow darker than the Idea Guys saga, and it almost feels like the culmination of all the sagas... the big finale everything was leading up to. Unless he gets off scot-free (he got a slap in the wrist for vehicular assault, so I'm not holding my breath here for anything massive, maybe 2-10 years prison at most, 20 if he really gets the book thrown at him, which he wholly deserves) but I think everything after prison is going to be more or less predictable and boring. Sure this news is pretty jarring and people are taking time to process everything, but in all seriousness, after doing time, Chris will either get on some meds, get it together, and work himself a real job, or he'll just live in squallor and die shortly thereafter. Another possibility is returning to prison.
It's all been leading up to this, boys and girls. This is the finale.
Let's be honest they did not even have to interrogate him literally they can just use the footage from the police car. He spilled the beans more than anyone can wish for. I can almost guarantee you he did not ask for a lawyer or use his right to remain silent they most likely suggested to him hey maybe you need a lawyer my dude and he was like oh yeah that is the thing I should probably get.He has already told the cops everything, I guarantee. If he’s this open about his crimes in the letter there’s no way he hasn’t told the cops about it too - especially if they sent in a female cop to talk to him.
