The argument to support Ralph's belief in this particular fart he's huffing isn't sound or even supported by any objective scrutiny, absolutely.

That said, if you use Critical Gunt Theory to re-contextualize the events we all thought we had a grasp on, and instead consider them through the Shartolemaic Guntcentric view of the universe Ralph clearly holds, the fact that Ralph had Nick on his show where Nick was generally well received while being smaller and less successful than Ralph, and then Nick got successful and this successful path continued basically without hiccup overtaking Ralph by leaps and bounds, is likely all the Gunt requires to consider this a sound argument assuming he actually believes it.

Generally agree regarding origin credit, it was an argument I didn't make as I felt it unnecessary when the important point is whether ralph believes the farts he's huffing, not whether the farts are supported by peer review. 😉

There was some pretty cringe moments in the stream. When they mentioned Ralph said "I'll do fine in jail, I have a big mouth." Then Nick said "I have a big mouth... Aaand a loose anussss." And it was a cringe moment, where Josh had to do a "heh" to defuse the tension. Nick is unvaxxed and battling COVID so I guess he did okay in the stream.

Plenty didn't land; mostly it seemed that Nick was trying hard to be funny but was exhausted (Covid is a bitch). Or perhaps he's just too old and went to too many art shows to understand the humor of people below 30 years old.
