I'm of two minds on this.
On the one hand, he's not wrong that
if he entered into an attorney-client relationship with Ralph, there are limits imposed on what he can and can't say outside that relationship. That's just objective truth. I would certainly never advocate that a lawyer should torpedo their career just so they can shit on a fat redneck retard on the Internet.
On the other hand, I am left scratching my head why he would enter such a relationship with Ralph, and bind himself to such limitations, in the first place. Lawyers can usually pick their clients. Thus, they pick their battles. Ralph has had "loser" written all over him for quite a while now.
I think maybe there's a "teachable moment" here where Nick should consider offering referrals in cases like these instead of going in balls deep. I think it's cool how he acted as an agent for Hero Hei when Anime News Network falsely struck his video, but taking on most e-celebs as clientele is probably a lot like agreeing to represent a dumpster fire. Consider that we catalogue, by name, such dumpster fires on this very site.
