I did NOT know he is a member of the Coppola family.Jason Schwartzman and I disagree with you. On this singular point. Everything else was great.

Comes in the family. Also personally, as it turns out.
He deliberately avoided using the name because he didn't want to succeed just because of nepotism, although it should be noted he was credited as Nicolas Coppola in Fast Times, and his next two movies (Rumble Fish and Peggy Sue Got Married) were both Francis Ford Coppola films.I did NOT know he is a member of the Coppola family.

If I remember correctly, didn't he specifically threaten to sue her, just her, and not the whole family?Thank you!
I couldn’t quite remember the details.
I mean, being generous they may have been young and poor at the time and couldn’t cope with two babies, one needing a lot of medical care. Even so, that’s going to sting.
I can almost get on board with him thinking the bio parents owed him anything but what I can’t get my head around is how he thought his bio sister bore any responsibility towards him. Of everyone he could choose to make demands of, that’s where he went.
Yes, just her. @GargoyleGorl has a good explanation above for that. I don’t know it being a misogynistic move escaped me, but still, he didn’t do that to his mother. If I remember correctly, didn't he specifically threaten to sue her, just her, and not the whole family?
Yeah, but the misogynistic aspect would probably mean he would expect it from the mom, too. I think she's in "the biz" too.Yes, just her. @GargoyleGorl has a good explanation above for that. I don’t know it being a misogynistic move escaped me, but still, he didn’t do that to his mother.
Maybe he sees the bio parents as authority figures or something?
I mean, who the fuck knows how his head works?
He wasn't raised with her in a sibling capacity and therefore almost definitely lacks that little voice saying "ew that's your sister". I'd bet $4k and a red dress that she got him hard.Yeah, but the misogynistic aspect would probably mean he would expect it from the mom, too. I think she's in "the biz" too.
That he focused on the sister specifically reeeeally skeeves me the fuck out.
Knowing out retarded goblin, that is highly possible. He wasn't raised with her in a sibling capacity and therefore almost definitely lacks that little voice saying "ew that's your sister". I'd bet $4k and a red dress that she got him hard.
Slight powerlevel- even when biosibs aren't Greer, they often have different feelings about things. I'm adopted with three biosibs. One basically acts like we were never separated and considers me a sister, one contacts sporadically, one has never wanted to meet. Adoption is a complicated thing, and affects whole family units. As gross as Russ is, his twin not wanting contact is very typical of adoption. I can't fault biosibs for not wanting that relationship- they didn't choose the adoption.I must preface this by saying I have no idea what actually went down. But I'll still say this.
If you found out you had a sibling you didn't know about, but that sibling turned out to be Russell Greer, you'd probably want them to just fuck right off too.
That's the same for just any kind of art out there whether it be music, painting, writing or whatever. People do it for themselves because there's something inside them that needs to come out. The lucky ones are the ones that do it for a living and the really lucky ones do so and are successful in making money.People who learn to play an instrument often do it because music is a deep passion for them. Much of the time they will play just for the simple joy of it. I've known quite a few people, myself included, who learned to play the guitar or bass simply because they wanted to jam along to their favorite songs and have absolutely no interest in writing their own music, starting/joining a band, or trying to become a professional musician. They learned because their love of music or certain songs was so great that they wanted to join in.
That's actually more common than you might think. While there is a thing about reverse sexual imprinting if you happen to grow up with somebody they tend to not see you as a sexual partner. But there's also the case of genetic sexual attraction in which if you don't grow up together and meet later on in life there's a chance you will see them as a sexual being. And there are loads of reports of people given up for adoption who met their bio parents or siblings later on in life and had sex. Yeah it's as disgusting as it sounds but it happens all the time.He wasn't raised with her in a sibling capacity and therefore almost definitely lacks that little voice saying "ew that's your sister". I'd bet $4k and a red dress that she got him hard.
I remember earlier in the thread there was a lot of poking at his interest in teethy smiling women and his bio sister happens to fit. Wouldn't surprise me at all. That's the same for just any kind of art out there whether it be music, painting, writing or whatever. Russtard isn't like that. He wants to do it because he wants to be famous. And he thinks that it will improve his chances of finding a woman that will put up with him for more than ten minutes at a time.

But think about that. Pipsqueak was so unlikable and so repulsive that even that couldn't get so much as a "hello" from his sister. I'm not saying that this is the case but it's just funnier to imagine that way.
Even if she is, she can run out her time at Olive Garden, get wasted, and never touch Pipsqueak, because he is a retard who can't figure out how hookers work.At least there is no danger of incest unless his biosis is an escort in affordable price range.
I see your "Russ was an eagle scout" and counter with "Mormons give literal tards the Eagle Scout rank." There was a big kerfuffle because the BSA supposedly tried to strip a bunch of merit badges because the tard didn't actually earn them. Family of tard sued the BSA claiming that it's disability discrimination to require tard to actually complete tasks required for the Eagle Scout that are beyond tard's mental abilities. "It's not a question of replacing a difficult merit badge with an easy merit badge, they're all pretty much merit badges that he can't really accomplish." No, tard has a right to obtain the Eagle Scout award. So they just gave him the badges, because effort. While I am sure some coddling happened, we have seen them set boundaries and conditions with him in regards to paying for school and his sister's wedding. Russ was also an eagle scout and while I don't believe he was the straight-A academic star he claims to be in high school, he graduated on time and at least had a decent enough GPA to engage in extra-curriculurs.
Russ's twin sister is very likely the only reason they let the pregnancy go to term. If there hadn't been a normal baby, there's a good chance they'd have had him put down, like the mongrel he is, and aside from his sister never existing in this hypothetical, everyone would've been objectively better off for it.That's the only thing I feel slightly bad about for him.
His bio-parents kept the normal baby, and got rid of the broken one. That's got to hurt a person terribly.
But he's never gotten any type of counseling to help with that, has he?
To be fair, parents giving up a disabled baby for adoption doesn't necessarily mean that they simply didn't want the child. It can also mean that the parents knew they wouldn't be able to take adequate care of a disabled child, so they give them up for adoption in the hopes that someone who has enough financial means and time to take care of them will adopt them. That's the only thing I feel slightly bad about for him.

It's not like he has a crippling disability though, that would require expensive care. He could, theoretically speaking, live a relatively normal life, he just chooses not to.To be fair, parents giving up a disabled baby for adoption doesn't necessarily mean that they simply didn't want the child. I don't know why Russ's parents abandoned him tho. They sure dodged a bullet.
I don't think they can detect Moebius before birth, and even if they could you can definitely selective abort a fetus in a multiple pregnancy.Russ's twin sister is very likely the only reason they let the pregnancy go to term. That will be funny until the sun explodes.Even if she is, she can run out her time at Olive Garden, get wasted, and never touch Pipsqueak, because he is a retard who can't figure out how hookers work.
Not expensive care, but very tiring. Especially with having another, albeit healthy child. Caring for a regular child can be really messy, but imagine the sloppy horror feeding a newborn Russ had to have been. He couldn't be breastfed and whatever they put in his mouth fell out immediately because he can't move his lips. Fucking hell, a normal child is draining enough, the Greers must be saints to put up with Russ for so long. It's not like he has a crippling disability though, that would require expensive care. You're right though, they certainly dodged a bullet.
