I must preface this by saying I have no idea what actually went down. But I'll still say this.

If you found out you had a sibling you didn't know about, but that sibling turned out to be Russell Greer, you'd probably want them to just fuck right off too.

Slight powerlevel- even when biosibs aren't Greer, they often have different feelings about things. I'm adopted with three biosibs. One basically acts like we were never separated and considers me a sister, one contacts sporadically, one has never wanted to meet. Adoption is a complicated thing, and affects whole family units. As gross as Russ is, his twin not wanting contact is very typical of adoption. I can't fault biosibs for not wanting that relationship- they didn't choose the adoption.

But there's also the case of genetic sexual attraction in which if you don't grow up together and meet later on in life there's a chance you will see them as a sexual being. And there are loads of reports of people given up for adoption who met their bio parents or siblings later on in life and had sex. Yeah it's as disgusting as it sounds but it happens all the time.

The BSA immediately backpedaled, of course, because it's just a freaking award, but that's not what "reasonable accommodation" means in literally any real-world setting. Letting a tard obtain Eagle Scout rank based on "effort" which is subjectively required by troop leaders who don't think tard can complete task X and have tard complete task Y instead completely devalues the rank of Eagle Scout, especially if it's obtained by a tard, which Russ certainly seems to be and this perception (even if it's not correct) affects how he's always treated.

It can also mean that the parents knew they wouldn't be able to take adequate care of a disabled child, so they give them up for adoption in the hopes that someone who has enough financial means and time to take care of them will adopt them.

Not expensive care, but very tiring. Especially with having another, albeit healthy child. Caring for a regular child can be really messy, but imagine the sloppy horror feeding a newborn Russ had to have been. He couldn't be breastfed and whatever they put in his mouth fell out immediately because he can't move his lips. Fucking hell, a normal child is draining enough, the Greers must be saints to put up with Russ for so long.

edit: I just had a mildly disturbing idea and I'm gonna inflict it on all of you. Someone I know has a parrot and when it was small, it had to be fed via a syringe. They would keep the bird's beak open by hand and use the syringe to push this weird nutritional slop down its throat. Do you think that's how Russ was fed when he was small?
