For someone above 500 pounds, she is hardly losing weight. She should be able to lose much more if she was serious about weight loss. In general, as you mentioned, she will gain it back and add much more. When people lose weight, the body thinks that it is being starved and makes food more tasty, increase appetite and reduce metabolic rate. This is typical yo-yo dieting and Amber has done it numerous times before. She is not serious but wants to promote her weight loss “journey” for her supporters. After she reaches her goal weight (498 pounds), she will be celebrating and having a cheat day, or week, or whatever.
