Seriously, outright removing the originals from various storefronts for THIS is unacceptable. And companies wonder why people pirate and emulate games.

Agreed (with the exception of the big showdown with Berkeley, that was actually quite fun), but the mission I was referring to was actually a Mike Toreno mission (the one where you have to make a long flight to Angel Pine and back while staying close to the ground, not easy to do when you're flying past forests and mountains). At least Zero's missions were optional, this one was required.

Reminds me of Dark Souls: Remastered. Bandai decided to soup up the graphics of DS1, then removed the original Prepare to Die edition and we're left with a gimped version of it with worse graphical fidelity and lack of QoL changes. It also murdered the online PVP playerbase and made lagstabbing more prevalent.

I saw some fuckheads saying that people had plenty of time to buy the originals, which is a really stupid and shortsighted way at looking at things. That's not the issue. The issue is that they're removing the original releases in favor of a remaster, effectively erasing the original releases and barring anyone who was curious from getting them on PC. Not to mention, those original releases were cheaper than the $60 price tag they're slapping on this one, so if you want to play the classic 3D games you gotta pony up more cash. It's disgusting that people defend decisions that actively harm consumers.

It's also NOT a remaster, it's a remake. A remaster is taking the original game and REMASTERING the art with the original code (Halo Master Chief Collection). This is a REMAKE because they're REMAKING it in a new engine (Unreal Engine). Even still, Rockstar is a multi billion dollar company, there's no reason for the game to look bad.
