Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

I really want to say it was just the five of them deciding to do it, just because of how fucking stupid this stunt was/is, but no, this had to have been planned. Too many operatives were replying to it with faux outrage IMMEDIATELY after it began to be shared on Twitter.

I think it's partially because Asians, being urban high earners are also much more exposed to progressive bugman ideology and it leads to a situation where voting democrat is simultaneously in their interest socially while also working against their interests in other areas (crime and affirmative action). This isn't quite the case with Hispanics.

Look, I don't blame you for this view of Hispanics since the media here lumps them all together, and has done so for decades but when they go for identity politics and vote accordingly, they do so on a very basic level, which is race. Asians from Latin America who identify with being Asian will vote accordingly, Black Hispanics who identify with being Afro-Latino will vote with blacks, White/Euro origin Hispanics will vote according to the political affiliation of the Eurocentric group they identify with, and so on. Hispanics that are a mix of the aforementioned with a smattering of indigenous ancestry will vote in any number of ways, none of them predictable.

They really can't be categorized into a monolith, its impossible. Tejanos along the border are voting red. Cubans in Florida vote red. Mexicans are divided into third or fourth generation, which tend to vote blue, second tend to vote red as they feel the effects of immigration on the labor market and first usually can't but if they can, mostly vote blue. That's just a few, there are dozens more. Anyone trying to get them to act together is ignoring centuries of history and pretending people on two continents are all alike.

Again, I have to bring up Bolivar, who exemplifies the inability of these disparate groups to unify and act in their own self interest. Look it up.
