Bayonetta 3 - What Moon themed song they gonna pick this time

Tbh I'm excited that 3 is confirmed and while I think the idea that her hairstyle is modeled after her younger self is cute, it doesn't mesh well to me unless its a prequel and this is a younger bayo. Since bayo is a more "mature" character and it looks too childish given her dominatrix personality so its kinda jarring. I'm also kindof nervous with that you can now control your summons since while it sounds cool on paper, it could easily fall into a pain in the ass gimmick mechanic that could drag an otherwise great game down like that magic seal bullshit in dawn of sorrow. either way, here's to cautious optimism and the return of the queen!

So which game does everyone prefer between 1 and 2 at this point? Having played through both within the last few days, I’d go with 1. There are some really stupid enemies in 2, I feel like a lot of the weapons don’t really play nice with each other they really should, and I dislike the changes they had to make to get Umbran Climax to not break the game probably the most. Most of the things that use magic gauge from the first game got nerfed to hell and back, and the fact that you don’t lose it on hit (and because a climax is OP as fuck) means the game is much stingier about giving it to you. Here’e hoping the demon summoning in the new game doesn’t cause problems like 2’s gimmick did.

1, just found it more fun overall. It also had better weapons, I agree that they don’t go together as well in 2.

Do you have any preferred sets for 2? I know I like Shuraba/Love is Blue in large part because 2’s guns have a better moveset on the feet than Scarborough Fair did. The bow is too puny and has too limited a moveset, the hammer is too slow unless you like banking charge attacks in beast within before fights even start, and the replacement for Durga is too slow for what it does too.

I think I mostly used Shuraba and Love is Blue too, wasn't a big fan of Kafka or Durga.

Being able to play Bayo 1 on PC with uncapped framerates and instant load times makes it an easy No. 1

I’ve been so in love for so long I just want to see her again bros.

Oh my god its Jennifer Hale as Bayonetta!!!!! AHHHHH

Its upsetting that Helena Taylor isn't back but Jen is great so a worthy successor. Maybe Helena is playing someone else? (Like how Jules De Jongh played a security guard in Mirror's Edge: Catalyst)

I SAW A TRAIN I SAW A TRAIN!!!!!! DID YOU GUYS SEE THE TRAIN!?!?

🚂YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!🚃

I'm very excited, October looks to be a pretty great month for video games, and I can't wait to play this. Hope it improves where Bayonetta 2 was lacking in some parts.

So they are doing a multiverse thing, thought so. And that was Jennifer Hale? Huh, not a bad replacement at least.

New girl is basically a mix of Vergil, Lady and Nero. Feels pretty edgy so far but I’ll try to reserve my judgement.
