Whether or not they're aware those channels are part of the psyop to make non-compliance "uncool". I remember years ago I was surprised by all the videos making fun of dumb anti-vaxxers, including from a couple channels I liked. The whole "lets make fun of flat eathers/anti vaxxers" trend felt inorganic, and was never particularly funny to me even when I did write off the concerns of the later group. Redditors love that shit, so its impossible to tell how astroturfed the narrative was and is.

Oddly enough, I haven't. I have plenty of turbo lefty friends and hardcore righty friends and we can all hang out and get along mostly because politics exists outside of our reasons for hanging out with each other.
We'll occasionally get into it, but we all know that what we're talking about means fuckall - it's just bantz.

Yeah but it also matters to how deep they get involved into their politics. It's not like some of us only had these friends due to politics, none of my friends hung out due to politics for instance. It also depends on if they are really left wing or just spout off political views that sound left wing for instance. The difference is huge in magnitude as most left leaners these days are practically preaching the gospel of Covid, CRT, and Orangemanbad, disagree and you are a a blasphemer.
I've seen tons of families go through it, friends having this issue and more. I doubt those families only maintained a close-knit tie due to politics.

Funnily enough its that Durham guy Barr and Trump brought in waaaay back and it looks like he's been steadily plugging away at going after the people responsible for making it. This. I’ve lost friends AND family to it. I know others IRL who have lost family/friends as well. It’s a Hell of a thing to lose a sibling, a parent, or a child to this bullshit. I know how it feels to lose someone to it, and I’ve seen those I love have to deal with losses of their own. Feels bad, man.

Funny thing about this: while mainstream media is all over the Dems losing Virginia and the implications, SJW boutique news websites like The Root, Jezebel and the Splinter castoff site the Discourse Blog have been silent at least on their websites about the GOP taking Virginia and it's implications for 2022 and beyond.
That only works if you take the stance that the endgame is to trigger civil war so the left can basically crush the right and claim to be fully justified in doing so via making the right strike first and allow the left to go scorched earth "in self defense".
And Joe and Democrat governors only have Covid as their tool to do this. Which is why the Virginia loss was HUGE because, in spite of the left considering Virginia a blue state stronghold, it's governor DIDN'T go full retard like NY and CA did locking shit down. Which was a HUGE fucking blow to their optics that a state like Virginia was in full revolt against the DNC line about lockdowns and shit.
