Here’s some more flags I like.

The Gagauz Flag, they’re a majority Orthodox Christian group of Turkic Speakers in Moldova and Romania.

An alternate take on the flag of Kazakhstan that I enjoy.

An alternate history Flag for a Communist Turkey. I thought it was clever.

My favorite Soccer Teams Flag. I was drawn to them for more than just aesthetics.

The flag even has a Facebook page:

big shout out to @Marvin for the best US state flag + the Baltimore flag which compliments it well.

How did I miss this? Definitely this.

I love the Maryland flag. I have one hanging above my couch in my living room. First thing that catches people's eye entering my home.

The Baltimore flag is nice too. I'm not ordinarily a fan of line art in flags. I like simpler flags that you can (for example) scrawl on a napkin in a bar.

But the monument on the Baltimore flag is pretty iconic. It's the original Washington monument, built before the DC obelisk.

Tricolor (and bicolor) flags are annoying to me for reasons people have already elaborated on. However, I do have a Ukrainian flag mousepad that has the Ukrainian coat of arms on it that looks pretty cool:

I got it at some Ukrainian festival in my city. Whenever there are ethnic festivals, I always attend. Interesting ethnic foods and ethnic boozes to be had. (also at the Ukrainian festival, there was some fellow with a thick accent selling extremely cheap LED lightbulbs for some reason; I stocked up)

This is the worst thing I have ever seen.

A geese would never say please. They are the assholes of the sky.
The joke is: That's the way canadians speak. Very polite people.
Americans traditionally had a very hard life - trading difficulty for freedom. This translated to a style of speech bordering on rude.

In modern times - it just appears rude. Go to Texas for an extreme taste of this phenomena.

Ukraine's flag should be this unofficial variant:

It just looks way better then a boring bicolor, and if your country has a unique emblem (and a cool-looking one at that) why not capitalize on it?

Funny enough they did use a flag like this officially as a naval ensign circa 1918:

Their military standards are all variants of this original number:

On the whole their flags are interesting and cool. Better than some big important nations which I didn't expect.
