I quote Binger himself, "it's just a handgun" ......

I'll keep saying it for the doomers, Binger's lines of questions and rebuttals were an insult to people's intelligence and the jury is no longer listening to him or is now hostile to him.
The jury are laypeople, and have more in common with Kyle than they do with Bingbong. They're in the room. If people watching on stream can tell Binger is a bullshitter, then so can the jury.

Furthermore, they're also probably reading Schroeder's body language and can tell Binger is on thin ice. (Personally, I hope they could hear Schroeder bellowing from the library).

To those worried about the jury going home and reading media shitpieces about the trial: there's also the possibility that they will see the part where Schroeder tells Binger he does not believe the case has been brought in good faith.

If I was a near psychopathic monster of a lawyer who doesn't care about the rules or even the guilt or innocence of a person, AKA Binger, I'd do it with a massive grin at the defense.
But it's just an autistic worst case prediction and hopefully doesn't come true today.
The thing I keep coming back to with Binger is that he's risking his livelihood. He's not really attractive enough to make up for his intellectual shortcomings, so is he really a good legal mind for CNN? The man doesn't understand basic law with regards to 5A and Miranda, FFS.

Isn't the jury a bunch of white women though? He's probably banking on them not knowing shit about guns.
The worrying thing about the 12 women is if they can be intimidated or emotionally manipulated, their possible lack of knowledge was never a real concern.

He's a loser. He's ugly. And he's white. That's three strikes, as far as the MSM is concerned.

I think this actually cuts for Kyle in this case. Women are both more emotional and don't like to be lone hold-outs. If most of the jurors think Binger is a slimey jerk they'll want to let baby-faced Kyle go free whether they believe he's guilty or not (and of course how could they possibly believe he is guilty). While a couple of men who disagree might stubbornly hold out regardless, a couple of women with different opinions are much more likely to just drop them to go along with "the in crowd."

This has nothing to do with being an asshole. Stop moving the goalposts.
Yes, it does have to do with it. AMong other things. An asshole, a thoroughly unlikeable person, is a lot easier to internally justify condemning to person than a baby-faced 18 year old.

It's -Wisconsin-. Literally a third of the entire state owns a firearm. If you exclude Milwaukee and Madison, that bumps up to just about fourty percent.

Correction: My numbers were a bit of date, it's 45%, nearly 50 dropping those two cities.
Isn't that lower than national average of 50%, or am I confusing households who own guns with individuals

It's worth noting that on the 4th Amendment Violation they got to hear the judge yell at Binger for a sentence before being sent out.

Kylebros are getting too cocky, calling it now: guilty on all counts, Wisconsin repeals its historic death penalty abolition act and retroactively apply it to Kyle. Beheaded by guillotine.
Looking back at the 2020 election and Chauvin trial threads, people ITT really need to prepare themselves to expect the worst in this situation and be pleasantly surprised if it goes better. Shout down “blackpillers”/“doomers” all you like, but you’re just setting yourself up to be even more painfully blackpilled later on than the people who already lowered their expectations.

The gun you don't see is always more dangerous than the one you do see. Rittenhouse had but a split second to make a decision versus those that had been eying that rifle all night.

Is that a serious question? People don't watch CNN (or any talking-head network including Fox) for actual legal analysis. It's all entertainment. Binger can put on a show, as proven by the last several hundred pages of this thread. The offers from the networks will be pouring in, he'll pick one, set up shop, and start making appearances on Dancing with the Stars and The View before 2022 is out.

There is such thing as hoping for the best, and preparing for the worst.
