I don't know if anyone else has bothered to do this before (I didn't see it anywhere) I looked up the landowners named Earl in their county. I only found 8. I excluded a woman named "Earlene" and women with "Earl" or "Earle for a last name. I think Earl was first mentioned March 18th, 2021.
Earl #1: lives about 31 minutes away. 80 years old.
Earl #2: owns a place 30 minutes away but his address is in Florida ($1 million property). Only bought it March 26th, 2021. The old place isn't for sale, at least not publicly.
Earl #3 (middle name): lives 26 minutes away on a relatively small property. 69 years old, might not live at the property now so he can take care of his ancient dad.
Earl #4 (middle name): lives 23 minutes away. Bought it October 2020.
Earl #5: lives 21 minutes away but his address is in Virginia. Looks like he might've sold the VA place four years after purchasing this Colorado property. 72 years old.
Earl #6: just owns a strip of land with no buildings 26 minutes away. He actually lives in Colorado Springs.
Earl #7: A name on a trust established in 2012 that owns a place 37 minutes away and a few other places with no buildings. Bought them in June 2021, all from one company. Rich investor that started in business.
Earl #8 (middle name): owns a place 7 minutes away. No buildings here. Address is in Montana.
There's another Earl listed but he died in 2018. Another trust in an Earle's name but it owns an empty property in town as an obvious investment.
Earl #9: owns and lives with a male friend at a place 39 minutes away. Bought it in March 2017. Clearly not ranchers: their place is forested.
Earl 7 is right out. Earls 6 and 8 are very unlikely though Earl 8 is by far the closest Earl. Maybe Earl 8 rents out pasture and is very involved in the management of it? I doubt that Earl 4 has enough attachment to the area to accost people. Earls 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 are all more than 20 minutes away so I'm not sure why they would know or care about the troonunicorns, but at least it's possible. Earl 1 seems a little too old to be up to these shenanigans. Only Earls 3, 4, and 5 are plausible, and two of them are decently old, unlikely to tail people down a street 20+ minutes away and carry around piss of some sort to throw on a driveway.
Earl 2 suggests a funny possibility that Earl just wanted to stop by to see some alpaca with a friend on his way up to buy the place and was frightened off by some freaks dressed like women waving firearms.
It is interesting that there's a hemp farm a few lots away from them that started up in 2018 and hasn't complained about these right wing militias. They've even brought CBD products into town at farmer's markets and a stand at the local school and they apparently haven't been violently accosted by groups of armed white Christians.
