I agree. Although I think that's mainly because OJ killed his wife and her alleged lover and Casey Anthony killed her toddler. I think joking about adult murders is a little easier than joking about child murders.

That's true, but child rape is pretty harsh too, and it didn't stop the MJ jokes. They really only died off because he died, and unlike OJ he maintained enough of a devoted fanbase that it became 'tasteless' to joke about it after his death. Also as another poster said, Casey didn't get off totally scot-free, they just couldn't manage to pin the murder charge on her. I'd argue that's different from OJ who escaped off of very flimsy technicality and it was generally accepted at the time that most jurors voted to acquit not so much because of the glove but because of his fame. And for a long time, the general consensus was that if you were black you stood by OJ's innocence no matter what simply because he was also black (and a famous football star). That's much more in line with the social media narrative of 'oh if you're a white boy you'll be found innocent on basis of skin color'.

The more I think about it the more I think this narrative somehow got co-opted from the Believe Women faction and turned from 'men' to 'white men' by BLM, because the same people run in both circles.

I don't at all hate or look down on black people, but it's the ones who "chimp out", or as Dave Chappelle said "there's a difference between black people and niggers", that I don't like. I don't think it's racial though, it's just conditioning. You look at Africans and the vast majority are nothing like African-Americans, and with them you have multiple subsets of people based on their behavior, between normal black people who act like anyone else and black people who go rob, loot, and attack cops then scream "WE WUZ KANGZ N SHIET NIGGUH". Despite that, I still think there's no inherent advantage to a multiracial society. Sure, in and of itself it's not the culprit, but it doesn't provide a net benefit to the society as a whole, and it becomes extremely easy for the powers that be to manipulate each race into division and discord. Doesn't mean hate blacks or whites or w/e, but I think each race is predisposed to living within its own race/ethnicity, and going against that isn't biologically natural. You see shit like that in the wild where animals will ostracize animals of their own species if they don't look like them. I watched the entire Anthony trial and I didn't think much of the prosecution in that case, but as you say, they didn't have much to work with. Casey's stonewalling and erratic behaviour actually bought enough time for the elements in Central Florida (which are no joke) to destroy most of the evidence. That said, those prosecutors look like Perry Mason and Atticus Finch compared to Binger and Fatlock.

If only the Farms was around for that trial….

To be fair, she didn't entirely get off. The charges of lying to the police stuck and she got time served for it.

Kinda felt bad for the prosecutors too. They did the best they could with the evidence they had but they couldn't prove Casey Anthony killed her daughter. Plus it didn't help them that her parents and her lawyer were able to raise enough doubt about the killing by showing pictures of her daughter opening the back door and climbing into their back yard swimming pool where Casey said she drowned.

Still, those prosecutors were a class act compared to fat fuck and soy face.

I remember it. It seemed so clear that anthony was guilty, but the prosecution failed to prove it beyond reasonable doubt. Anthony repeatedly lied, she didn’t talk to the police for a sustained period of time, and her lifestyle condemned her on its own(she was a party girl).

Later IIRC they found something on her computer search-“fool proof suffocation” or something like that.
