"With all due respect your honor, the defense is clearly attempting to take advantage of your lack of understanding of technology"

You all remember that? What was it that people say about leftists scummy prosecutors always giving away their intent through the accusations they make towards others?
At this point, due to the fact that Trump won 2016, the Democrats has been very open about what they stand for. They have admitted that they don't care about the American way of life. Only that they wish to make the lesser population suffer because they have the concept of individual thought.

Shit moving quick, not sure if this has been stated yet or shared. It's not the drone footage, it's some stream from earlier that the jury was requesting.

Sperging out on the internet is not a useful way to direct righteous anger. Spinning yourself in circles and giving yourself a heart attack over something you have no control over does nothing but waste your emotional energy and is frankly kind of annoying to watch. Get a grip on yourself.
lol I'm calm drinking a beer, I know and understand that no amount of strong emotions is going to affect the outcome of the trial or anything else for that matter.

But it does get annoying having people tell other (assumed adults) on a shitposting site about retards to stay calm. Like, I doubt most people even when rageposting or whatever are actually that emotionally invested. This isn't Twitter.

I am... less sure of that. They have been making progress with the charges, going off what they have requested. The question is whether the holdouts are Guilty or Not Guilty.
just by the video alone i HAVE to think that the majority would be for NG. anything else doesnt make sense given the demographics of kenosha.

Runkle of the Bailey said there might be 3-4 jurors "splitting the baby".
I really loathe that phrase, as it completely misconstrues what Solomon, perhaps the wisest man who ever lived, did in that situation. He did not "split the baby." He found that the woman arguing about the baby who would actually agree to such a horrible solution was obviously not the real mother.

I can't believe a profession so filled with Jews would get a story from the Old Testament, about one of the best Jews in history, would repeatedly misrepresent Solomonic wisdom in this way.

“I have faith in the free market” is such a silly thing to say. The “free market” didn’t exist until the modern state system emerged, it is predicated on contract enforcement and absentee ownership, which are guaranteed by the state. Furthermore, those who initially built their fortunes in the “free market” are naturally incentivized to prevent market competition from reducing their control, and the state is incentivized to work with them. Thus, the natural incentives that emerged out of the thing you have faith in are what ends up destroying it.
Yes, that is the key issue, which is why the incentive should be removed. Are you familiar with the 1st Amendment, specifically the first half of it? The protection of religion wasn't made for Muslims or Hindus or the like, it was made because early America was populated by practitioners of a wide variety of Christian denominations that did not entirely get along. The 1st Amendment forbids Congress from picking favorites in religious matters, because the State picking favorites is how you get inquisitions. Similarly, when the State is allowed to pick favorites in economic matters, you get monopolies, enforced by government regulation that makes competition prohibitively expensive and protected by bailouts for when the unhealthy business practices they engage in occasionally come back to bite them in the ass, such as happened in '08. Without the government to lean on, any attempt at an economy-controlling cabal would inevitably disintegrate due to either infighting or upcoming competition taking advantage of the value of not being an asshole. Therefore, the solution is not to further strengthen ties between the State and the economy, but to drive a wedge between them, an economic equivalent to the 1st Amendment, something along the lines of "Congress shall make no law regarding the conduct of business, nor preventing the free and fair practice thereof." Granted, they would eventually weasel their way around it, as they have with the rest of the Constitution, but I accept that as an inevitable fact of life to be remedied by the occasional refreshment of the tree of liberty, rather than running off into utopian delusion.

Regardless of all this, the free market as it existed in the 18th and 19th centuries isn’t coming back no matter what you do or how hard you try. The moment a country starts operating on “free market principles” it would begin to lose power relative to other states and eventually be forced to readopt a regulated/controlled market or be outright vassalized/conquered.

There’s a reason very few people who understand politics are libertarians, it’s just an absurd and impossible belief system.

Assuming this is true, at this point, I don't give a fuck about America's place on the world stage. Let Russia and China come into ascendance all they please. America has been holding the global state hostage for almost 80 years at this point, it's all going to explode into rivers of blood at some point. America is a geographically isolated nuclear power, nobody's fucking invading it.

I mean, that would still be compression, surely?
Yes but I'd be surprised if there they used completely uncompressed files at any point, most devices don't provide you with uncompressed files out of the box. Did they show the files at any point? I wish I could see the file size difference between the files it'd help make things alot clearer.

Socrates literally condemned himself. His death was an irl shitpost where he convinced the "democratic" Athenians that their own philosophy was bullshit, and they sentenced him for death because of how angry that made them.

Socrates was a completely awesome dude, he knew that his death would be remembered for thousands of years, probably for the entire length of history humanity even exists, and used it to spit contempt at a philosophy he despised, and was correct to despise.

If you disagree, name a single one of the prosecutors of Socrates you remember.

It's been a while since I've read The Apology (transliteration of apologia meaning defense) but the fact that Socrates was such an insufferable pedant is the actual reason they killed him.

...Get away from me.
