Anybody else catch that when the judge first tried to shut down 47's motion for mistrial by stating he wanted to wait on the jury to ask for the video, Krauss was quick to pipe up that "Actually your honor, the defense's motion is for a decision regardless of whether they request the evidence or not." < Or something to that effect.

They want the mistrial. The defense is literally giving them what they want, a chance to regroup and come at the case from a different angle.

The trump card they could play is going for the ziminskis angle.

If a mistrial is declared is previous testimony still on record and usable? I would assume no.

I'm glowing like Bill Clinton's bed under a black light right now. These people are a mixture of incompetent and malicious. The jury has already been tainted by this chicanery and outside influences. This "trial" is a complete farce and is unfixable.

Everyone would already have all the evidence, in their proper formats, including a few bits that disprove key points that weren't there before. The prosecution's shit was all about obfuscating the evidence from the defense so they could try anything.

That will not work on round two, when the defense has all the evidence already -and- knows the prosecution's only trump card.

This just sounds like nobody wants to take any accountability out of fear for what might be said about them. The jury doesn’t want to vote not guilty because of fear of riots, the judge is afraid of his rep being tarnished, the prosecution is willing to obstruct justice for their own motive, and the defense is cucked by all of this.

No one wants to own the reality of what is happening. No one has the courage to actually fight for justice. This stopped being about Kyle days ago and it’s become a case of preserving egos. Everyone in this room is willing to let this kid go to jail because someone might say mean words about them on mainstream media that barely anyone watches nowadays.

There is, right now in evidence, video of that exact scene from the ground disproving that.

The drone footage only worked because the defense had no time to go through all their evidence to find it, or know it was there. Now they do.

You think Binger and Krauss want a do over? they have floundered the whole case, their witnesses are against them, and they are getting memed. on a new trial they would obviously leave out their bad witnesses they would likely leave out the edited drone footage and what does that leave them with?

I think they'd rather rely on whatever Jew they snuck into the jury, but would certainly prefer a mistrial without prejudice than they would one with prejudice.

We joked about it, but this entire trial feels like it shifted against Kyle ever since that "Asian food joke."

The problem is it doesn't even feel like the trial shifted against Kyle. It feels like watching someone being thrown home run pitches repeatedly and the batter just looking at his feet and yawning.
