The trump card they could play is going for the ziminskis angle.Anybody else catch that when the judge first tried to shut down 47's motion for mistrial by stating he wanted to wait on the jury to ask for the video, Krauss was quick to pipe up that "Actually your honor, the defense's motion is for a decision regardless of whether they request the evidence or not." < Or something to that effect.
They want the mistrial. The defense is literally giving them what they want, a chance to regroup and come at the case from a different angle.
If a mistrial is declared is previous testimony still on record and usable? I would assume no.
