I know how fussy tech can be, I've been doing IT as a job for a long time (not to mention I'm very familiar with Murphy's Law and how crap OBS can be). But I have also seen plenty of times where they just didn't download and install the actual game until the stream started. You know, simple stuff like that.

I do wonder if Hololive ever actually gives them any starting guides, tech advice, anything like that at all, considering how often it takes people like Botan to save the day and be the real tech expert when the crunch comes down on them hard. All of Hololive should have some basic tech assistance available to them...oh, who am I kidding. That would make sense, and this is Hololive management we are talking about here.

Scuff is kinda like salt: a small/reasonable amount can really add flavor to your dish, but it's not good with every dish, and in any case too much will ruin it. They really walk close to that line sometimes, but thankfully Ina's fun to listen to whether she's playing a game or not.

And we can't blame her for how it ended: with a server disconnect in a singleplayer game. (Fuck off, Activision-Blizzard, seriously).

Still, the idea that someone as mainstream as Justin Bieber using an animated stream/concert should give consumers/investors confidence on VTubers and their tech. Good news all around for Cover and the other companies, and a wake up call that they need to work harder on perfecting their tech
