probelm with the gop is when it comes to anything except tax cuts or defence spending , they are no for anything else. Here is the thing the people hate the status quo, since the gop wont even attempt to sell thier own vision of a unversal healthcare system for example. every normie, blames them. Outside the farms since we all know megacorps and democrats are in leauge together, the normies think megacorp they think gop.
Nobody who thinks socialized medicine is a good idea is going to vote Republican, ever. But to your point, what the GOP refused to do was even speak about the problem of spiraling health insurance premiums in America. It's not that they refuse to offer a plan to bring the rest of the medical industry under federal control, it's that they refuse to even acknowledge problems exist, let alone offer any solutions. When Obamacare naturally failed to work as promised and actually just drove costs even higher, the best the Republicans could do was flounder around and fail to pass anything, because even repealing it and going to back to a slightly less terrible status quo was just too big an ask for them. I don't know of any better argument for Republican uselessness than the two years Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell had to give Donald Trump literally anything they wanted to have him sign, and all they could come up with was...a tax cut and some more defense spending.

I don't even disagree with this, but let me ask you this:
what black-majority area in the world is anything other than a shithole? How did Saint-Domingue become Haiti, the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere?
not sure i even have an answer to that. I think the reason behind the case of developing black communties during segregation also has to do with their mindset on what was important. the majority of them wanted to be treated as equals, and they accomplished that largely by preaching non-violent protest, and then acting on it. afaik, the majority of their community disavowed and discouraged violent protest. At the time character seemed more important; they bettered themselves; emulating white culture, while simultaniously, slowly changing minds by rising above harsh treatment in public settings, with many witnesses. I wonder how much has to do with a christianity being prevelent among them. ...I'm convincing myself its a culture issue at this point.

My sister who is the lone leftists fucko is going to cause a big stink and be annoying. I told everyone I refuse to have anything to do with her after she wished my father death after a serious accident that almost killed him all because he didn't support vax mandates (he's actually vaxed though, go figure), so I'm either not going to our family event or leaving as soon as she starts shit depending on if my other grandmother is doing anything or if I'm lonely or something.
Its astounding how these people claim a progressive stance, yet can't accept anyone with a nuanced opinion. The old "I believe in gun rights and abortions" meme just causes them to blow a gasket.

"Problem", you say? With the costs of providing a service ever increasing, and the abject failure to address the actual drivers of said costs, what specifically do you think should keep said costs from "spiraling"?

I suspect you might know more about this subject than your comment suggests, but there are an incredible amount of - extremely misguided - people out there who imagine the cost of providing healthcare services "should" be a certain number, and get very irrationally angry over the idea that the true cost is significantly greater, and who think that the answer is for the government to pass a law.

Your comment puts me in mind of an anecdote I heard recently about a patient who complained after a doctor handed him a bill for $5,000.00; his primary objection was that he spent less than an hour in the doctor's office and didn't believe his physician's time was worth the price. The doctor then provided him with an itemized bill: $500.00 for the office visit and $4,500.00 for knowing where to cut.

Segregation is the only path. We need separate everything.
If you're implying state enforced segregation is the way to go, I'll have to disagree with you on that. But America today does still have segregation, it's called "people choose to live together and interact with the people they want to", and the problem is governments or other groups try to do enforced diversity (affirmative action, diversity quotas, etc.) in order to "correct" that.

If you want to live like the Germans do, you need a high rate of literacy. You need a certain percentage of your society to be engineers and doctors, you need to be able to produce a certain number of highly skilled machinists, you need the number of people who are incapable of learning to follow rules and keep order to be tiny, etc. If your median IQ is 85, too much of your population is violent morons, and too little of it is capable of achieving something higher.

i don't think they are *incapable* of doing so, so much as *unwilling*. anyone can better themselves, all it takes is for one to apply themselves. I say that, as a child of parents who were told that i would, "never be able to function independently in society".

I agree emotionally.

Counterpoint: Singapore. Pretty sure that's a democracy and it's definitely a diverse multicultural country. It's also authoritarian AF which looks like what's necessary for diversity + democracy to coexist together.
Singapore is a democracy the same way The UK is a Monarchy. They call themselves a democracy on paper and go through all the motions of being one, but it is in reality an authoritarian police state ruled by a single party.

You are from a 99% white country. You have no idea. You literally have no fucking idea what the United States is like.

I meet slavs who think "oh I can go to LA and be famous instagram model mmm I find reech man who buy me purse and geeb me familie" , then their family goes to a school where they are unable to actually learn shit because there are niggers in every class fucking things up and generally being insufferable.

You have no idea. You have no fucking idea what it's like living with these people.

If you're moving to the US make sure you're getting a gun in a state with stand-your-ground laws, moving to a white area, and that you will have enough money to homeschool without your spouse working.
I thought it was pretty obvious that living in the ghetto or some heavily progtarded place was not desirable. Most of America isn't that though. Those are the exceptions, not the rule. Suburbia is fine. Rural areas are fine. Their schools are fine. All this dumb divisive shit is just crap we watch on the news with very few, though notable, exceptions. This Kenosha Blake/Rittenhouse thing being one. But I think the circumstances that allowed that to happen just significantly changed. They took a huge L here because they took that shit to Middle America.

People wonder why AT is the way it is, jeez.

But seriously... why so much love for child molesters on the degenerate freak left?

It's because leftists are brainwashed into believing that being oppressed = good, and oppressing people = evil. That moral binary outstrips everything else, period. A murderous pedophile who raped and strangled a dozen infants to death in their cribs is automatically a better person than somebody who oppresses people.

"Problem", you say? With the costs of providing a service ever increasing, and the abject failure to address the actual drivers of said costs, what specifically do you think should keep said costs from "spiraling"?

You kind of answered your own question. No Republican was or is going to address the drivers of those costs. Examples of those drivers abound, of course, and I don't want to derail this thread by getting into the weeds there. However, it suffices to say that each of those drivers is something of a political hot potato, no way to address it without somebody on NBC accusing you of being a meanie doo-doo head who hates the poor/old people/blacks/immigrants/etc. My point here is unlike the Democrats, who are willing to piss people off to accomplish something they consider important (recall that they sacrificed their congressional majority to get the Affordable Care Act passed), Republicans flee the room and retreat to the safety of bromides about tax cuts and national defense.

To bring it back to something more on-topic, rolling up antifa should be an absolute no-fucking-brainer for the Republicans. This is an international network of loosely-organized terror cells that has been enlisted by our own Democrats to use street violence as a tool in American politics. The people who organize and fund these things are flesh-and-blood persons that can be arrested, tried, and prosecuted. The increasing willingness of the Democrats to use low-level terrorism in electoral politics is about as close to an existential threat to our political order as we've seen since the 1860s. And what's the Republican response? It's to wring their hands and worry, "But gee, if I come out and talk about how the Democrats work hand-in-hand with masked street goons to terrorize American communities...won't the media accuse me of being a fascist sympathizer who doesn't care about systemic racism? Best to sit this one out!" In fact, it's worse than that. A lot of senior Republicans saw antifa violence during the Summer of Love as a chance to...fuck Donald Trump. They not-so-subtly signaled in a variety of outlets that if Trump used federal power to do anything, they were going to join with the Democrats and oust him.

So whether we're talking about health care or antifa terrorism, the GOP stance is the same. "We're not going to do anything. Hey, don't you feel like your taxes are too high?"

Blake was shot in the back multiple times. That's hardly justifiable, whether he had a knife or not.
When you're being attacked by someone with a deadly weapon who clearly means to kill you, you don't act carefully and gauge how much force is necessary to stop the threat, you stop the threat. In a split-second-decision situation, one you didn't instigate where the slightest hesitation could mean your death, it shouldn't be surprising that he fired off multiple shots, whether Blake backed away or started running or not. It's not like he dropped the knife then ran a few blocks away and the cop calmly got out a rifle and shot him.
The officer was carrying a gun. You can create distance between yourself and the threat when there is a knife involved; not so with a firearm. The officer already had the advantage.
Unironically go watch Surviving Edged Weapons. Jokes aside it'll explain why that's factually incorrect and in practice implausible.

According to information that came out later, Jacob Blake stole the keys to his ex’s minivan with 3 kids inside of it, had a knife, then used the stolen keys to get into said vehicle. Unless these facts surrounding the incident that lead to the officer shooting Blake have magically changed, the Kenosha riots happened in response to a cop protecting 3 kids from a kidnapping/attempted murder.

The cop that shot Blake is a damn hero. This entire riot happened because BLM intentionally chooses the worst cases to champion. Why? They are looking to incite a white mob to start murdering black neighborhoods at random. Look at every shooting/death BLM has raged over, all of them were explainable after an investigation was held, but the media always squelches the evidence. Even worse, on their face the incidents were easily explained, but the media made sure to cover it all up. The only exception was a case in the northeast US near the end of Obama’s term I can’t even remember, where a black man died of a spinal injury. Even George Floyd was a dead man walking with that many drugs in his system, negligent manslaughter was the only charge that made sense.

That’s right, everyone, and I mean EVERYONE that desired Rittenhouse’s life to be ruined has no choice but to go yell at the two groups that actually started it. But they won’t because why fight a mob and the media when you can bully one young boy? Cowards, the whole lot of them.

I know on the polls I picked “somehow guilty of two mutually exclusive charges”, because I figured that if the jury folded, it would be in such a way that everyone and their grandma would call bullshit and the judge would toss out the case on the spot. I wasn’t placing my faith in the jury, I was placing my faith in things becoming so unbelievably stupid that the judge would have to intervene to save his own skin. Thankfully things didn’t get that retarded, but it looked like it down to the wire.

Thank you for coming to my TED talk.
