Blake was shot in the back multiple times. That's hardly justifiable, whether he had a knife or not.
When you're being attacked by someone with a deadly weapon who clearly means to kill you, you don't act carefully and gauge how much force is necessary to stop the threat, you stop the threat. In a split-second-decision situation, one you didn't instigate where the slightest hesitation could mean your death, it shouldn't be surprising that he fired off multiple shots, whether Blake backed away or started running or not. It's not like he dropped the knife then ran a few blocks away and the cop calmly got out a rifle and shot him.
The officer was carrying a gun. You can create distance between yourself and the threat when there is a knife involved; not so with a firearm. The officer already had the advantage.
Unironically go watch Surviving Edged Weapons. Jokes aside it'll explain why that's factually incorrect and in practice implausible.
According to information that came out later, Jacob Blake stole the keys to his ex’s minivan with 3 kids inside of it, had a knife, then used the stolen keys to get into said vehicle. Unless these facts surrounding the incident that lead to the officer shooting Blake have magically changed, the Kenosha riots happened in response to a cop protecting 3 kids from a kidnapping/attempted murder.
The cop that shot Blake is a damn hero. This entire riot happened because BLM intentionally chooses the worst cases to champion. Why? They are looking to incite a white mob to start murdering black neighborhoods at random. Look at every shooting/death BLM has raged over, all of them were explainable after an investigation was held, but the media always squelches the evidence. Even worse, on their face the incidents were easily explained, but the media made sure to cover it all up. The only exception was a case in the northeast US near the end of Obama’s term I can’t even remember, where a black man died of a spinal injury. Even George Floyd was a dead man walking with that many drugs in his system, negligent manslaughter was the only charge that made sense.
That’s right, everyone, and I mean
EVERYONE that desired Rittenhouse’s life to be ruined has no choice but to go yell at the two groups that actually started it. But they won’t because why fight a mob and the media when you can bully one young boy? Cowards, the whole lot of them.
I know on the polls I picked “somehow guilty of two mutually exclusive charges”, because I figured that if the jury folded, it would be in such a way that everyone and their grandma would call bullshit and the judge would toss out the case on the spot. I wasn’t placing my faith in the jury, I was placing my faith in things becoming so unbelievably stupid that the judge would have to intervene to save his own skin. Thankfully things didn’t get that retarded, but it looked like it down to the wire.
Thank you for coming to my TED talk.
