Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Ethiopians are what happens when you take Africans and inject the West into them at a slow but steady rate. Somalians are what happens when you take Africans and inject the Arab world into them at a slow but steady rate. One of them carves churches out of solid rock in the shape of the cross... and do so out of the Earth itself so only those who look down upon the Earth (like say, God before the airplane was invented) can see the extent of their efforts and faith. The other... well, we know what they're like.
It's funny. I play a fair bit of Civilization VI and their New Frontier Pass introduced Ethiopia as a playable civ again. I was fascinated reading over their Civopedia background, right down to the rock-hewn churches and everything. And they crank out Faith points like few other civs in the game do.

Due to not being an American, a question: can one state persecute a resident for a crime they commit in another?
Sometimes but not often. They’ll try you in the state where the crime occurs or in a federal court depending on if and/or how the crime crossed state lines.

Yeah my country has the largest Ethiopian population outside Ethiopia and the USA and they're overwhelmingly conservative and patriotic af
What happened with Somalis tho?
Low IQ problems. Somalis also have a recent communist background, which is the government Omar’s father worked for.

They're gonna run this bitch again

Ethiopia does genuinely have an interesting history too. I know plenty on here think Africa was just mud huts and chucking spears before 1880 but they have some pretty cool medieval ruins. I'd definitely go some day

Actually that poll is significant enough that I think it merits a post of it's own. I also feel like ccing @Gehenna because this poll presented the lowest number I've ever seen a serious poll give for Biden. It seems like his Democrat supporter base is getting undermined.*
*Having looked back it seems like the Dem approval for Biden actually rose 4% since their October poll. It seems that 4% was mostly in the "Strongly Disapprove" camp in October, then the bill passed and suddenly they moved to "Strongly Approve". Perhaps that was the effect the infrastructure bill had: to rally wavering Democrat voters, even as approval continued dropping.

Trafalgar released a new poll conducted between 11/26-11/29 that gives Biden a 36.3% approval rating.
  • 65.0% support among Democrats
  • 8.2% support among Republicans
  • 29.3% support among Independents
39.3% of responders were Democrats compared to 35.6% Republicans and 25.1% Independents so it's possible this notably low approval rate might actually be skewed a tiny bit in Biden's favor. Margin of error is 3%.

Off-topic, but this is part of what pisses me off about the call for "diversity" in modern culture. If you want to celebrate diversity so much, why not make a movie/book/video game/what-the-fuck-ever about cultures like Ethiopia? Instead we black-wash European figures and keep the focus on "THEY ENSLAVED US REEEEEEEEEE". Cuz God forbid we actually get inspired by actually interesting stories about our heritage!

On the other hand, the colonies weren't buying slaves from Ethiopia.

THere has been attempts at African fiction on the market, but every time, if it isn't "magical black person saves all the other black people while destroying/humiliating whitey" then the usual suspects scream about how it isn't representative of the "American black experience" and so needs to be destroyed.

What will the abortion outcome mean in terms of lawfully mandating vaccines?

If "my body, my choice" is outlawed, then what law do you have on your side to protect you from Biden or whoeverthefuck rules the laws, from saying "well, not your body, your choice any more. You're taking the vax!"?

FWIW, the head of the EU, Van der lemon or whatever her name is, is discussing making Vaccines mandatory across all EU member states. They must feel pretty confident about the response, because the EU was looking at collapsing after Brexit. Fance, Spance, Greece and Poland all discussed leaving the EU.

Come, Eurobros, join us English in glorious freedom, free from any german arseholes. We've helped you, help us, help the continent to stop Herman the German, twice in 100 years. Shall we play first to three?

I think it speaks to something that him and others have said for the last few months as things have been accelerating. They burned every favor and screwed over just about anyone besides themselves to to make everything in 2020 happen the way it did; and it’s all falling apart anyway. The ratfuckers that pay for his firm’s services (no offense intended @Gehenna ) might be willing to play ball with the Dems on some conditional basis, but a lot of people want them to drop dead.

The escalation, the burned bridges, the deliberate trampling of anything and everything that people were told their entire lives was the right thing to do… it’s tiring. Eventually something important is going to break, and I don’t think the people that think they’re in control can keep everything else together once it happens. These people are malicious, and god willing they’ll get to face the hatred and fear they keep screaming about.

Sorry if that was doomy.

Doomy? Hardly. This just reaffirms that elections have consequences and that genuine voters of Biden and the Democrats get to see first-hand what a crock of shit they've been sold. It's learning the hard way while those who voted for Trump get to sit back and observe the buyer's remorse.

And once Biden and his cronies do something they cannot walk back from, savor every moment of the fall.
