The issue is that there's absolutely no reliable data on how many people detransition because a lot of people just stop. They don't go back to their gender clinic or whatever and say "I want to detransition" unless they've gone so far along that they have medical issues to adress. Then there's the issue what counts as a "detransition" - if they've started treatment but not really gone that far along, is that detransitioning? Or is it just the fact that some people stop trying - look at the residents of The Tranch; they've arguably stopped even trying to present feminine.
