In Pippa's defense separating art from artist is something that is pretty much required in this day and age

For example my capeshit is plagued with out of touch woke actors pushing for defunding the police and calling your neighbor with a dif opinion a Nazi

But i enjoy the MCU too much to drop it based on the actors ignorantly attempting to drive the country off a cliff

So when it comes to Artia I hear that despite her wolf warrior status she was a good entertainer and i get not wanting to drop good entertainment for unrelated idiocy or malice

It's hard to separate art from artist when the artist can't keep their shit on the artist side, like Artia did by encouraging the chink brigade to go after Coco. On the other hand If the artist is Pippa herself and her deal is just having questionable taste in oshis then that's far easier to swallow.

I find it really funny how much this thread's opinion has seemingly changed on Zax, while /pcg/ is probably still seething that a dirty penis-haver is living with Pippa.

Believe it or not, Zax is quite a catch for most girls out there if they can tolerate him being a furries. I don’t know how Pippa manage to caught him in the first place (most likely dump luck) If we look at the current society at a whole, with Zax pledge himself to take care of her, suddenly she’s a winner in life and not just some high school drop out loser like she saw herself.

If we look at the positive thing like someone already pointed out about how she might fail her YouTuber dream but at least she’s did not end up miserable as a single mother with extra baggage of kids and a few cats.

Most “independent” women, who hits the wall, would drink poison in order to find a guy like Zax as their partner. Plus she’s still too young to have a midlife crisis.

I think there was a rumor that she was replaced at one point, but the voice actress swears that it never happened. Hard to tell, all things considered. Her identity was a mystery for a long time, but eventually actress Nozomi Kasuga was identified as the voice

Doesn't matter. That should have been the end of it. The fact that they replaced her and didn't tell anybody damaged their reputation in some peoples eyes. Her leaving for nfts just cut the wound deeper

Here's the thing. They technically did and didn't.

Upd8 realized early on that Kizuna Ai growing too big meant she would be stretched too thin between doing Youtube content and doing celebrity things (concerts, interviews, TV etc), so they hired extra VAs to keep up with the growing demands of Kizuna Ai. They never outright replaced Ai, more like placed a substitute while the OG Ai is busy with concerts and whatever.

The problem here is that the either the management or Nozomi Kasuga decided never to tell the fans that they would be hiring extra VAs to keep up with the projects and that they placed the substitute on Youtube, the place were most of her fans know and love her. So while OG Ai is still definitely active (albeit not on Youtube); fans were quick to realize that the one handling the Youtube channel was definitely not the OG Ai.

And by the time Upd8 came forward and said, yes, we hired extra VAs and the launching of the multiple Ai projects, it was already too late. Fans already felt discouraged because the company thought they could just "replace" Ai with nobody noticing.

TL;DR: Nozomi Kasuga was still active as Kizuna Ai, but they did hire replacements to stand in for her.

It's easy for a creator to feel that they're "small" at 17k, until you remember the unbridled mass of wannabe nobody streamers and YouTubers who make content under 5 people will ever watch. There are so many people wanting to make it in this industry that by the time you're pulling the numbers even Pippa has, you're probably in the top 1%.

If you're learning to draw/play guitar/anything, how do you improve if all you're doing is going "Yeah, I suck, but at least I'm not at the level of literal babies". No you don't, because that means you're complacent and no longer interested in improving. You should always find ways to improve, and ask yourself what you you could do better to be at the same level as others.

Pippa/Yuni knows she already "made it" as a Vtuber, but she also knows she's clearly lacking in something because her peers have already beat her despite her early lead.

Being disappointed in oneself is the crossroads Pippa/Yuni needs to overcome if she really does want to be bigger as a Vtuber/content creator. The first step in improving yourself is identifying what it is to improve on.

I just hope this doesn't discourage her, rather I hope this inspires her to be better

I'd also like to add that as everyone here knows by this point, I've been chatting with the dude pretty regularly for a little while now, and I can say with absolute certainty that he is NOT the '''sensitive furry soyboy cuck''' that some people in this thread and on /vt/ like to assume he is. He knows how to take a joke and can dish back the banter extremely well. He's honestly pretty funny. I have not even once seen him go into a tardrage or get offended by something we've said. He really just finds it all humorous.

Maybe I misread something, but did Kizuna Ai says she was specifically leaving because she wanted to do NFTs. The quote I read made it sound more like “Between the Facebook name change and whatever NFTs are, I think I need to get more up to date with the current goings-on in technology”. It just seemed like an in-universe thing for an A.I. wanting to learn about humanity would want to take time away to “power up and evolve” or whatever.
