Something weird about his attempts to ignore champions. He can recall funky names like "Dokkan Battle" and "Brave Exvius" yet can't remember a common word like "Champions". Even when he is admitting to having played it in the past (which even he knows he can't deny, seeing as the main objection he should be making is that he isn't playing it now) he still can't come out and just call it by name.

LMAO, I had heard the WWE Champs and hogan jpg memes for months, but I thought it was just detractor insinuations (based on bank leaks). What a complete fucking piece of shit. I don't know why I'm surprised.

There's an entire thread about it in this subforum. Covers the initial reveal of the "TheyCallMeDSP" account, finding at least one other mobile game with an account of the same name, estimations of money spent based solely on VIP level, Phil getting booted from guilds, his Discord account being found in multiple WWE Champions discords, and all the subsequent name changes, guild changes, and further spending.

Edit to add: the bank leaks more or less confirmed that he was spending wild amounts on Champions due to repeated authorized charges for specific amounts that corresponded to the price of packages sold in WWE Champions + applicable tax.

I think Phil uses some shitty gaming laptop to stream with because he never knows shit about his specifications or what he would need to improve his computer for streams. He always talks about his cpu being at like 50 percent to 75 percent when he streams which makes me think he's on like a msi laptop that has a station to tell you that shit. Phil doesn't seem like he would ever save up too build a pc or be into pc gaming in any capacity. It would actually make his streaming better though consoles are fucking trash especially for streaming, I think Dark Syde Phil is one of the only people that streams with console besides people that stream switch games.

Considering how much of a coincidence Geoff Keighley's birthday(The Game Awards) is on his day off, I could see him having that on his belt for his *t-poses* return to pre-stream podcast festive holiday themed streams with daily gin ales.

Phil has 2 PC's and laptop but the notebook has arm based Intel CPU which we found out durring the unboxing as it uses a version of Windows 10 that only supports apps from the store.

The first PC was the fan buit one that he supposedly screwed them on. One of the memory sticks died so what did the GoutLord do? Bought a new PC instead of just replacing the memory.

The second PC which is over $3000 from Cyberpower was basically a copy of his old PC except it has a 4770K in it I believe, I'd need to recheck the video. Phil broke a hinge on the top cover durring the unboxing.

The notebook which he recently got turned out to be an overpriced Intel ARM based peice of shit. Phil found out the hard way when he tried installing software that wasn't compatible. He basically only uses it for CHAT and Streamlabs purposes and that's all. That is what sits to Phils left all the time.

I have a theory though that he has another PC. This happened in MeerKat's stream a few weeks ago. Meerkat played a video where Phil screwed up the dual monitor setup he was or is using still. What happened is Phil disabled the landscape view and went to a mirror view mirroring each screen and he didn't know how to fix it. He went on stream to ask for help and said he was using Windows 10 and of course Windows 10 Desktop was on the both screens. This was back from 2017 I believe but I can't find the video and it will take sometime to search through MeerKat's vids. I do have a plan to do a vid on the lack of knowledge Phil posses but tries to come off as knowing to sound cool or smart....

So does he have a third PC we know nothing about and he's bating paycucks to donate money to a new gaming PC? Or is this the old POS that he's used for years upgrade to Windows 10 and he's just been lying this entire time?

While he may have half a point (deathloop on ps5 has 88 critic vs 63 player score) but he is insanely out of touch if he thinks that "games journalism" will die if it was named game of the year. Especially after the farce that was "gamergate". This "gap" has existed for years, there's a reason GJ has been a joke for years.

Phil's just jealous that they get early copies of games, despite the fact that they aren't his competition. In fact, he's benefitted from their early access, so he shouldn't be upset about it. If he was as respected as he thought he was, he could've easily been getting early copies with a few emails.

You can easily search for players opinions on games now, to the point that's been years since I read a IGN review or whatever.

The "Lemon" 3K Cyberpower PC was about as top of the line as it gets in 2014. Even now, it's still a capable gaming PC with the 780 Ti it has.

Phil was too uneducated to understand that 1) Rage is a shitty PC port that ran awful on everything, and 2) Streaming and capturing back then was a lot more stressful on his 4-core CPU than it is now, thus bottlenecking his 4970k. And he probably didn't set it up properly, as he's proven he has little knowledge on game and streaming settings.

I'd be very surprised if Phil bought another PC. We saw his budget tier Acer laptop that he doesn't want to spend money on not Champions or booze purposes.

If Overwatch winning game of the year over Uncharted 4, Doom, Titanfall 2, Hitman, Dark Souls 3, Gears of war 4, Battlefield 1, and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare (Campaign was amazing don't at me) didn't spell an end to Gaming Journalists, I don't think Death Loop winning will either Phil.
