Nevertheless it would be hillarious if the Dorito Pope would reply to Phil's ingratiating with a nonchalant "OK.". The pigster's sperg out would be legendary.
I'm not so sure. Phil has an established history of giving up on anyone who clearly knows what he is and cutting off all contact with them. We know everyone is a utility to Phil, well, they're really a mark, to borrow a wrestling term. You have to be fooled by him in order to make the mistake of giving him anything, whether it's money or even just acknowledgment that he exists. You have to be ignorant of who you're dealing with, because you'll notice that literally everybody who figures that out either walks away forever, gets cut off forever, or is a paypig. And the more he needed you, the more it triggers him that you woke up from being a mark and did the inevitable. But no matter what, Phil never bothers with an aware person. They're always a lost cause to him. He is most definitely VERY aware of how limited his appeal is, and has chosen this life over giving up any of his bad traits.
Geoff giving Phil an "Okay" is acknowledgment, and that's probably far enough away from "Aren't you the guy who spends more money on a wrestling mobile game than you ever have on ACTUAL video games?" for the pigroach to jump all over it like he just found a twenty on the ground. He is clearly VERY desperate for anything that isn't a solid L at this point, and "Okay" should be good enough. Like I said, he gives up when you show that you're not a mark, and "Okay" isn't enough to tip him off in either direction.
I'm sure he'll be steamed, because of his ego, but he won't show it until Geoff or whoever else he stupidly tweets at gives a much clearer view of whether they're ignorant of the fact that they're talking to a 40 year-old who threw a temper tantrum over a "puzzle boss" in the remake of RE3. And charged $2k for a cat reveal. And had outstanding debt on a dozen credit cards. And threatened to hit an 11 year-old girl after she could no longer hear him. And a million other things that cement exactly WHY Phil targets the ignorant.
I have to assume he applied to get whatever back on Twitch in October when he was eligible and was rejected.
I'm sure, because for all his bluster, and for all his enjoyment of receiving undeserved apologies, Phil is not based enough to ACTUALLY insist on Twitch reaching out to him. He needs that climate back, and will go for it every time he has a chance. He just won't acknowledge it publicly because he's a fake-ass punk.
How amazing would it be if Twitch produced the ultimate detractor video with about six hours of clips.
Mt. Everest would be supplanted as the world's tallest mountain by the pile of salt that would flow from the pigroach on that day. We saw how he got when they (unintentionally, or may not?) put him on blast over his odd amount of financial support in comparison to the puny size of his audience. It's not hard to imagine his reaction to them going all the way to full blown "That's 100% a lie" levels of telling him off AND showing everybody paying attention that giving Phil anything is a bad idea.
Like I said above, the pigroach relies upon ignorance for getting new marks, and his crawl from the muck itself is reliant upon finding new marks. Plaster the front page of any popular website with what essentially amounts to a Down the Rabbit Hole video, and Phil may as well give up on his dream. He won't, because he's that desperate and dumb, but even he knows that he should, upon such an event.
