The diabetes is strong in this one. Too fucking cute.
Also...water balloon physics.
The booba physics are pretty distracting. I know everyone likes their jiggly boobs, but they are too much. I first noticed just how bad it was with Kronii, but Calli and Ame both got it going on now too.
I liked everything about the outfit except the beehive. And then in the end Nabi managed to outdo herself again. Long hair Ame hits different for sure.
Can't wait for the uninspired Ina and Gura outfits.
I really hope Gura's got an Atlantean outfit like this and not just a plain party dress. Something similar would be awesome.
does it matter? she'll probably use it like two times before shelfing it for 9 out of 10 streams
From her comments, it sounded like she didn't get much input into her previous outfit (and thus kind of implying she didn't really like it), but with this one she did. So hopefully she'll like it better and use it more, as well as having a competent rigger... Or we'll just be back to the shark hoodie again FOREVER.
JP bros had been calling Ame as Watchama since day 1 when she injected viewers with that Watson's concoction.
I actually want Chloe turn out to be Alice to be honest. I was fan of ClariS since Oreimo's Irony. They are the first Vsinger after all.
If Chloe turns out to be Alice then then my rrat about why Alice never goes back to ClariS or re-debut as a solo check out. Initially, Clara said that Alice left to finish college hence she get Karen (one of their friend/classmates at some musical academy back in 2014. After that Alice never return especially when Clara revealed that they finished high school around 2014 (the same year Alice left) and 2018~2019 should be college graduation years for Alice. I imagine if Chloe/Alice want total anonymous and not agree with Sony's plan to unmask them around early to mid 2020 hence she never return.
This deep voice is pretty close to Alice.
Nice to see the ClariS love here, especially for Alice. Like you said, they kind of were ahead of their time as vSingers (or maybe pngSingers)! Similar to others, I first learned of them from Irony, but some of their non-anime-related tracks turned out to be my favorites - Drop, Flower, Zutto, etc.
The talk of who you watch got me thinking about how I started watching, with who, and when I fell down the rabbit hole. Thanks to the wonders of youtube watch history, it looks like the first clips I watched of a vtuber were of Gura on january 7, 2021. I could have swore I had started before the new year, but I can't find any vtuber content from before then through December 2020, so I think that was it!
After watching a ton of clips I started watching live streams of Gura mainly, with some Ame and Ina thrown in. I also got interested in Haachama during the heavy lore days early in the year, but have kind of fallen off now from watching her and rarely do anymore. When IRyS debuted I watched a bunch of her stuff, but slowed down on her too now. With Council debut I've started watching Mumei and Fauna regularly and still currently do. And now with JP gen6, Chloe is quickly moving up as well for me, and if she keep working on her EN skills I can see that continuing.
Given the above I think I've hit my limit and might have to drop back soon on some of them and prioritize. There's only so much time in the day! Especially with wife, kids, work, etc. I always prioritize IRL stuff, so I won't not do something because of a stream "conflict" (touching grass is important guys!). which is making it hard to keep up. There's VOD and nyaa for unarchived stuff, but even so... I've definitely slowed down now and Gura is pretty much the only one I try to watch everything of. The others I watch if I happen to be free or have time and/or the content (game, karaoke, etc) interests me.
I think that is pretty normal. You find vtubers and become interested enough to start falling down the rabbit hole, find what interests you (specific vtubers, games, types of streams, or just generally everything), and keep finding more. As you do you keep increasing what and who you watch until you find your limit of what you and your life can handle, or maybe overdo it a bit and hopefully recognize that and scale back.
