For the most part, I enjoy playing games on the hardest difficulty possible. I find part of the joy of gaming for me is the challenging part of it. If a game is too easy, I get bored of it quickly. It's part of the main reason I loved the Souls series. I obviously don't play games for money, but just for entertainment value. I'll also admit I sit firm in the camp that games are getting too easy with lots of hand holding, but I won't sperg out about it like some people simply because my opinion is my own and I know there are people who don't agree and simply play games to unwind after a long day and relax.
I agree playing the hardest difficulty means a lot of time is for self learning and enjoying a game pressuring the player to play careful
Halo 3 is one of them in Legendary difficulty with co-op and only 2 players, it does help having a good teammate but hella good just playing with someone else for company, and it is most of all just playing with yer mates
Phil is a man of no culture, no significant evidence that he wants to play with friends as he burnt those bridges ages ago, and Papavera is another casualty of Wage-quitting a game thu buzniezzz can't sustain because dentheads get bored
There's definitely less joy in making him squeal to get that money lately, and I think we can blame the very obvious arrangement going on between Phil and OIC. It's leaving a bad taste in the collective mouths of the paypigs, especially since OIC is the one who poses a threat to them beyond just making their contributions worthless in the context of paypig culture.
Phil's idiocy always finds ways to fuck up his grifts. If he had been smarter, he would be a position right now where he could afford to cut OIC loose and bask in the adulation of his paypigs once more. Probably get a new vest streak going, too. But he's dumb, so here we are, watching him drive his own legacy further into the bowels of Hell.
This really cuts to the heart of why Phil is an asshole to beg for tips, because he's streaming until the day he dies and everyone knows it. The only person who benefits from deposits being made into his PayPal account is Phil, and even then, not really, because he's so stupid with his money that those tips don't benefit him in any sane way. If he wasn't also such an asshole, somebody would care enough to seek power of attorney over him and legally forbid him from handling his own finances. So really, nobody wins when he gets tips, whether he begs for them or not. The stream certainly doesn't, because that money doesn't go into them, ever. It goes to Scopely.
Which he fucks up royally, easy mode or no, so he's an idiot for spending all these years wasting his time with that bullshit. TIHYDP taking off better than any of his videos should've been immediately followed by him either striving to get good for once or, more plausibly, embracing being the internet's butt-monkey and rolling in troll tips forever.
No joke, he could be whaling out twice as hard on Champions without even begging and we would have no idea that he's even doing it. That's what makes him truly dumb, the fact that his habits aren't even adequately fed because he's too incompetent to pull that off. Basically, he sucks at sucking.

There was one fantastic video where he went from 1200 subs to 1000, each and every time the haemorrhaging damaged his channel, it baffles PhilPig why people aren't giving MORE on top of what he wants to have, gifted subs now memberships on YT just proves how OIC is still kept around to inflate the numbers
I think YT will keep an eye on a channel like Phil, not that
will help in getting him of the platform but the numbers in organic growth v the artificial gifted memberships will really prove how his channel has shrunk
He wants systems in place on YT to help Him and Himself only, begging for GM's will only be his resort to paying the monthly bills other than his daily tips for disposing into Gacha, DoorDash and His favorite liquid... Gin...
