I also believe 1MM is PlanetJeff, and after his doxxing and Twitter fiasco he contacted Phil behind the scenes and said he can’t have this sort of thing happening to him again but still wants to support. So he agreed to give Phil $XXX/mo and told Phil he can use the contributions as he sees most fit.

That really sounds so retarded when it’s typed out but I think that’s one of the sanest possible explanations.

I think it's kind of silly for anyone to think your AOE spells shouldn't have friendly fire. You set off a giant fire explosion in the area and expect your friends to just be comfy chilling there? Do these people also throw grenades then walk through the explosion? Might just be people not used to CRPGs, pretty sure friendly fire has been a thing since Baldur's Gate.

AoE and environmental effects were a big deal in DoS1 to the point where you could wipe out entire parties just by clumping them together and going to town with poisonous barrels and explosions. This was significantly toned down in the sequel, the chamber leading up to Radeka in the first chapter being a fine example of this.

These are games least suited to Dave's format, because you can't steamroll a wrpg unless you know the ins and outs of its systems, how to min-max or just figuring out what works and what doesn't. Watching him play Divinity was torture, because he couldn't progress 10ft without asking chat what to do and ended up quitting at the start of chapter 2 - despite it being a patreon choice.

thats the smug the thing I said was such a galaxy brain white hot take, that mic drop moment, that "what I just said ruined that person's day cause I'm so clever and funny" look where in his head this is where the canned applause or "oooooo" plays.

I legit think in his head the delusional part is taking over at an alarming rate and he really thinks he's some viral sensation who tells it like it is, he let it slip a bit when he called his pod-a-cast a "show".

There's that and how he acts on his "show", when he does the news segement he acts like he's gotta get his papers or and his script off his phone. It was something I noticed the last time I was able to sit through one of these disasters.

I mean do any of us even consider getting butt-hurt over needing to pay attention to such details if we want to go nuts blowing shit up? No, it's something most of us do anyway. We play a game, we're automatically paying attention.

Phil doesn't even play blackjack well, despite legit enjoying it, because he doesn't pay attention there either. It just doesn't show as much on his face because he's actually having a gay old time regardless. So it isn't just a "I hate video games" issue, it's his brainpower being inadequate. He can remember wrestling trivia, stuff that's static, but on the fly? Adapt in real time? Not even when he was having fun.

I remember seeing a really old clip of him talking about a supposed tournament win of his where he claimed he was adapting on the fly, and what's funny is that not only is that bullshit, but he speaks of this moment as if it was amazing, never been done before. Seems odd and exceptional until you realize that it's his ignorance leaking out, his lack of familiarity with how normal it is to be adaptive in video games.

Wings is more pathetic in a direct manner. Whereas DSP tries to hide his WWE Champions addiction and tries to be slightly subtle about his E-begging, Wings airs his misery on stream for everyone to see and has said "if you're not here to support or donate, get out.". Similar to how LTG's toxic outbursts are every stream in comparison to Phil, Wings manages to have a meltdown or otherwise look absolutely pathetic nearly every stream.

Wings lives in a modular trailer home on an empty lot with a municipal hookup in whothefuckcares South Carolina and Phil lives in a large single family duplex home in a gated community that's driving distance from a Metropolitan American City that is a huge tourist draw and reputation boost.

Wings is fat and DSP is an average american (still fat but not obviously obese)

DSP has a thin-ish wife that looks normal until you find out she's white trash that has flunked her way through life.

Most people you meet will make their overall impression based off these superficial assessments and Phil seems like he's on the ball while Wings seems like SSDI White Trash. I'm not saying it's right but it's just the way it is.

I disagree with this.
If DSP wasn't so goddamn lazy, he would absolutely do all the shit LTG does. He already did dox one of his paypags to his mods, since that took no effort.

The difference between them, like someone said, is LTG is open about his sleaze & accepts his persona. DSP is tries to hide it, this just makes him a not just a scamming scum bag, but a underhanded cowardly one.

I don't know what it is about Wings specifically, but he attracts some of the worst trolls and griefers whenever he plays online games. Entire squads of people following him around Battlefield, people driving by his house, the constant barrage of messages and friend invites on PSN, and most recently, someone managed to gain access to his Playstation account, send racist messages to a friend who then reported him and got his account suspended to the point where he couldn't play any of the games on his account.

Both Wings and Philip are pieces of shit, but Jordi is subjected to substantially more harassment than Dave ever was.

LTG is way more toxic than Phil, believe me. Just watch a few of his streams back to back and you'll see. And fair, admittedly Wings being the most pathetic is debatable, thinking about it he at least wasted all his money on trucks and guns which while on the surface level seems stupid, but both are at least physical goods which are very useful and it's miles better than spending all your money on pictures of burly wrestlemen and fast food. Which adjective would you think would most describe Wings while also setting him apart from Phil and LTG?

Compared to the other two Phil also has little engagement in the online world too, he struggles to get 1k views on his newer videos. Wangz rarely goes below 5k and often goes over 10k while LTG gets the most views with very rarely going below 10k views on his videos. Says a lot about Phil's delusions about still being releva- sorry, pertinent, when he can't even come close to the numbers that his lolcow peers get.
