You know coffee doesn't have to taste like shit? - Black coffee discussion

I use this.

I don't know how to make coffee using a machine.

Unless you burn the shit out of your coffee with a percolator or heated coffee pot coffee I can't understand hating black coffee and finding it intolerably bitter. Do you have the pallet of a child/Redditor?

I can drink black coffee if necessary, but why bother when milk is just right there and makes it better

I always start my days with the freshness of Folgers.

nobody mentioned espresso??
Someone already mentioned, but different drink.
I was definitely an all beer is bad kind of guy until I tried Okinawa and Sapporo. There's light European beers that I like which I can't name but I get one if I go out for dinner
All beer taste like piss water me except Gose. Give it a look Gose wiki
Depends on the mood and coffee for me, if I do have milk I like full fat. You don't realize how much you're missing out on until you try it, it really adds a nice richness.
That half and half hits right.

I don't mind the taste of black coffee, but it kills my gut when I drink it. It's too acidic. Even just a little bit of cream is enough to stop that though.

When I'm drinking my coffee at home, I drink it black. If I'm out, I add milk or cream, no sugar.

I used to think Pilsners were a crime against nature. Don't know if my taste buds changed as I got older or what, because it's one of my favorite types of beer now.

Everyone shits on Folgers, Eight O'clock, et all for being basic bitch everyman coffee, but I enjoy even the really shitty ones like Nescafé and Maxwell House, mostly out of nostalgia.

So uh...anyone else like to put evaporated milk into their coffee?

I only really use milk for coffee so went through a period of only getting those little cans of evaporated milk because fresh stuff would just go bad in my fridge. It makes the coffee super rich, definitely not for everyone.

Now I just get full fat long life milk or whatever it's called. The stuff that keeps for a long time.

Oh, I tried it not long ago. Tastes great, but it's kinda greasy.

I'm mostly a wine person but I enjoy wheat beers and stuff like lambic. Rodenbach is also delicious though hard to find and pricey. However if I'm at some bar or music venue and I'm already drunk I will just order pbr or similar because it's cheap, inoffensive and you don't notice the taste of beer as much in that scenario as you do if you're relaxing at home.
